Ambien Zolpidem Tartrate Medication —

I was given this medicine to help my insomnia.  I took one dose of it and decided it wasn't for me.  I was able to sleep after taking it for about three or four hours, then woke up feeling like I had taken speed or something.  I wasn't able to get back to sleep for anything, and had to be at work in the morning.  Needless to say, I ended up going to work on very little sleep!  I talked with my doctor and we tried a different medicine that worked much better for me.

I am having the same symptoms right now.
After a week of insomnia (staying in bed for 4-8 hours without falling asleep) i wen to the doc and he prescribed me ZOLPIDEM 10mg, I took the pill at around 9:50pm and was asleep brfore my wife finished her nightly perpetration for bed.(about 20-40min) now I am wide awake at 2am. Searching the net for a way to get back to sleep, would taking another pill be ok? Arrg, I just want to sleep. guess I am going to try visiting the doc again tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that this one just didn't do the trick for you.
