Ambien Zolpidem Tartrate Medication —

My husband takes this as a sleeping pill and so far we have seen more reasons to STAY AWAY from it than to USE it. First, the 5mg or 10 mg did not make a difference in sleeping. Now, the 15mg dose is giving nasty side effects. My husband is essentially functioning through the night with NO MEMORY OF IT! He cooks, holds conversations, etc as if he were awake. He calls people and starts nasty fights for no reason. More than once I have caught him trying to take MORE PILLS because he thinks he has no idea what he is doing and has no memory of the events in the morning. Luckily he does not live alone- how many people are dying from accidental overdoses?!?!
