I suffer from hyper-pigmentation on my skin so I decided to try Ambi Complexion Soap to give me an even skin-tone appearance. I must admit that this soap works really well. I was very surprised by how well it worked. It made my skin look more even and I even got lots of compliments. It also reduced body acne and made me feel more comfortable. The scent of Ambi Complexion Soap is very strong and I love how the smell lingers in the bathroom after you have used it. One thing I didn't like about the soap though is how the results weren't permanent. Once you stop using the soap, your hyper-pigmentation returns almost immediately, so if you are looking for something that will give you permanent results, I would recommend using something else because this is temporary. It does lighten scars though. When you use this soap, your skin will be very dry but nonetheless the product works almost immediately toning the skin on sight. I would recommend this to anyone who can continuously afford the soap and who is willing to maintain results through persistent use.

Although I still get breakouts this Ambi Complexion Bar always clears them right up and it does prevent me from having as many break outs as I did in the past. I like that it leaves my skin looking clean and it doesn't dry out my skin like some of the other brands I have used before this one. I have oily skin so I am in constant search of a new brand that may work better than the one before. I found that in this bar. I don't like that it only comes in bar form. I would rather have it in a cleansing gel for easier storage and usage. This clearing bar is quite pricey. It's a average size bar and I paid about 5.00 for it. Effectiveness Ambi soap has been very effective in keeping my skin clean and clear. It's also great for oily skin. It clears all of the extra oils in your skin. Ease of Application I'm not to crazy about this soap being in bar form but I wish it was in gel for. The bar has to be stored in something. Side Effects This soap does somewhat dry out the skin but it's not to bad.

This soap is very good. It help's me with dry skin. My face was dry and I started using this soap and have not seen any dryness in face since. My sister face is very clear, she uses it as well with alcohol to clean her face and her face is smooth with no spots. Ease of Application The ease of it is well. All you have to do is just wet your face and apply the soap. I was always told not to use warm or hot water when washing face. You should always use cold water. Side Effects There are no side affects with this soap at all.

I have been using Ambi Complexion bar for about 3 months now for my night time face cleansing. One of the things that I like about Ambi complexion cleansing bar is the smell. The smell is very pleasant and not overpowering to the senses. Also the way it lathers up on your face, lots of bubbles. I found that Ambi complexion cleansing bar is not drying to my skin and the effects of some of my dark areas are fading and making my face look even tone all over. I really love Ambi complexion cleansing bar from Ambi. Will purchase again.

Prior to using this, I was using a black soap that was great! Due to word of mouth, I decided to still try this complexion bar because I had heard how great Ambi was for African American skin. It was extremely affordable but so was the black soap I used, so I thought nothing of it. I used a coupon too! I used the bar to wash my face in the morning and in the evening with a baby washcloth and lukewarm water. It smelled pleasant. It also wasn't drying which I liked. Prior to using it, I had old scarring that pretty much faded into my complexion. After the soap was used, my complexion looked the same. So, the soap MAY have been good at maintaining the clearness of my skintone. I feel as though I cannot fairly rate this bar because I saw no change. No dramatic brightness, nor any breakouts. I have since switched back to my black soap because it felt more moisturizing then this Ambi Complexion Bar.

When my mother recently introduced to using the Ambi skincare complexion cleansing bar, it worked just as well as the Ambi fade cream. The soap bar however is green, it has the "Ambi" logo imprinted on the soap itself, and it has a nicer scent to it than the cream, sort of like a spring - smelling smell. I used it on my face as well to get rid of old skin cells as well as to clear up any dirt on my face. I used this to help my skin retain its normal color as well as being clean as well. I use the soap bar every night and wash my face using the bar and the washcloth together. I always feel refreshed after using the soap bar. The soap bar doesn't make your face dry either. The soap bar can be used for showering as well and the results may take weeks or even months before you can start to see results. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone that wants clearer skin and a refreshing scent as well.

I have acne marks on my skin. I thought that the ambi commercial was stating that they target clearing any problems from dark skin.  I used the ambi complexion clearing soap and moisturizer.  I expectedthis soap to be able to clear my skin because the commercial says that this soap is made for my skin.  I have been using the soap -moisturizer combination for month, and I have seen no difference at all.  AS a matter of fact I do not know one person that has said that Ambi has done anything for thier skin.  I really wish it had worked because I have in the commercials and advertisement and I really believe in what they stand for.  I have not noticed any difference, the only time that I saw a change is when i switch to noxema and another skin lightening moisturizer,  I really want to get rid of the dark marks because I am a model and I can't have this cost me money.  So good luck to you .
