The Ambassador Milwaukee has an amazing staff. When I checked in the front desk imediately took care of my special requests, the room service staff was very friendly and quick, as were those in the restaraunt and lounge. I took advantage of the free shuttle and found them to be most accomaditing and helpful in locating places of interest to me. The hotel is beautifully appointed with large welcoming rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. This hotel really stands out when it comes to customer service!!! I look forward to my next visit.Recreational Attactions: Short…

The Ambassador Hotel had a very inviting atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The art deco design was very interesting. The linens on the bed and the towels were all fluffy & clean as was the terry cloth robe which was provided. A free shuttle was provided to take you anywhere in town. The coffee shop had delicious food at very reasonable prices.Entertainment: Short Drive, The free shuttle took me to the Pabst Theatre nearby and picked me up at the end of the concert. I also went to the Potawatomi Casino with the shuttle. They made my overnite stay a real…

The Ambassador Hotel in downtown Milwaukee was a very pleasant experience. The art deco renovation made our stay quite unique. Our room was clean, comfortable and homey. We had Sunday Brunch in the hotel dining room and were very pleased. The food and service were top notch and a real value for the money! The cafe was a great place to grab a quick cup of coffee and a bagel when we wanted a lighter breakfast. Parking was close, ample and free. Loved the elevator doors!Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, If you're in town to check out Marquette University, it's just down Wisconsin…

The Ambassador Hotel is a restored, art deco building about a mile from the Milwaukee central business district. The hotel is in pristine condition. The rooms are exceptional, with pillow top beds, huge LCD TVs, terry cloth robes, and lots of room. Parking is a breeze in the oversized lot in back (no attendants, thank goodness). There is a wonderful restaurant and hopping bar, The Envoy, in the hotel. Also, there is a very good business center. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. This is a tremendous value for your money and a good place to have an event (there was a big wedding…

From the outside, the ambassador appeared to be oldish run-down historical looking building. As they say, you should never judge a hotel by it's outside. Actually, I don't think that is a famous expression. It should be because the newly renovated interrior is nothing less than spectacular! The rooms were not the most spacious I had ever seen , but they were quite roomy. Overall, I would highly recommend The Ambassador Hotel for any out of towner or a local couple looking to get…

We stayed at the Ambassador while attending a conference nearby. The hotel is about a ten minute drive from the airport and less than five minute drive to the interstate. The Ambassador is just down the street from Marquette University. the recent renovation to the hotel is stunning and the attention to detail is impressive. We had the opportunity to dine several times in the restaurant where the food never disssapointed. The dishes were creative, beautifully presented and delicious. Our room was comfortable the hotel staff attentive to our needs and very friendly. I would not…

The Ambassador Hotel is a fantastic hotel near Marquette University. I would definitely recommend individuals who are going to Marquette University for any reason to stay here. Their staff is very helpful and friendly, and went well beyond their duties to help me at times. In addition, the room is well taken care of, ironing board and iron came in very handy, DVD player, large parking lot, and a high speed internet connection in the room with cable in the desk drawer. Two good restaurants and bar with great staff. I really like my stay here, but I would say the neighborhood that…

This is a beautiful hotel--the art deco restoration has been carefully done and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the staff is young and helpful. It is not organized to give you an "office" away from home, but provides a reasonable level of access to internet service, printers, etc. It is close to downtown but in a "pioneering" neighborhood, not a lot of things to walk to in terms of food or retail. Very good value and a lovely atmosphere.Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, The bar, cafe and restaurant in the hotel are superior which compensates for…
