I've been using Amazon.com for quite awhile, and I must say, it is definitely my favorite online shopping website. They are a great retailer with extremely high quality merchandise and a vast selection at competitive prices.Product Selection
To start off, Amazon has many different products, and with anything you're looking for, chances are you'll find it on Amazon. Their prices are always lower than or equal to other retailers for the same product. Plus, Amazon is constantly having sales that can stack even greater discounts on top of the already low prices.
Amazon also sells a multitude of products through other retailers on their site. If you can't get it directly from Amazon, chances are you'll be able to find it from another retailer selling on the website. Also, they allow users to sell items directly, thus increasing your chances of finding that hard to find or out of print item.
Shipping
Shipping on Amazon.com is extremely cheap and most orders that ship directly from Amazon are free when the order is over $25. Usually the item arrives well before the estimated delivery date, and even the slowest shipping method is actually quite fast. As far as third-party retailers go, their shipping can be quite high, but it depends on what retailer is selling the item.
Customer Service
The customer service representatives are quick to resolve any problems you may have, and are quite helpful. As far as returns go, they are surprisingly simple: Amazon.com gives you a label to print, and you simply mail the package pack to them. As soon as they receive it, they credit your account. Simple, no?
