Amazon.com — 

Several months ago VPs gave me a $20 gift certificate for Amazon.com, a certificate I waited until now to redeem. Since the books I wanted weren't gifts I opted for free shipping to save money. I placed the order Thursday, December 20, and wasn't expecting it to be shipped right away, naturally assuming holiday orders would be taking all the attention. I was surprised to get an email Friday saying my order had been shipped and would be arriving in two packages, especially since they would arrive after the holidays. Saturday I checked the tracking information, my order was in California (I'm in Texas). I didn't bother checking Monday, Christmas Eve, because I saw no reason. So you can imagine my surprise when the doorbell rang and the mail carrier delivered a package from Amazon.com. They sent the first two books priority mail at no cost to me and shipping will still be free! Now that's what I call going above and beyond. Needless to say, I will be ordering from Amazon.com again.

I did quite a bit of shopping through Amazon.com this past Christmas. I was shocked to things arriving so quickly. They were great for Christmas 2007!!! I do have 2 things to return. Not by their fault. So I'll see how their return service goes. Wish me luck ~ Now as far as 2008 purchases go....I ordered 2 beauty items about 10 days ago. One item is here and I have not heard about the second item. I'm glad that I read your review because it reminded me to check on my item.

I also received the gift certificate from VP. I checked out Amazon and wow! some of the prices are outrageous. I thought they were a cheap place to find things. I found a CD that was $40 when you can get it in the store for around $12. I did find some DVD's I wanted though.
