Amazon.com is a website that I used to frequent only to buy or browse books.  Over the years, Amazon has added toys, home and garden, health and beauty items and most recently, groceries!

Yes...groceries delivered to your door!!

Being a super busy working, full-time student MOM, I needed to check this out.   I despise spending my free time at the grocery store when I can be with my children.

Now, Amazon doesn't have a selection like your local Kroger or Meijer but it does have a lot of grocery items to choose from.   Everything that I was interested in, I needed to buy in bulk.  Which is okay with me....it means less shopping down the road.

I have found that I mostly like to buy cereal items, cookies, etc.  The prices are very reasonable and comparable to my local grocery store.

My favorite part of shopping for groceries on Amazon.com is that you have the option to subscribe for automatic delivery.  If you would like a certain product shipped every month or every two months, etc..you can!  How convenient is that?

You also have the option to shop and have food delivered to someone else.  This is such a convenience for those who have to shop for elderly relatives or for those who need an escort to the grocery store.  They can have their food delivered right to their door cutting down on trips to the grocery store.  I gotta tell you....that's awesome!

The shipping costs are very reasonable and doesn't shy me away from buying at all!  Like with all other Amazon.com purchases, shipping is FAST!   You can pay extra for next day delivery but the standard delivery usually comes within 3-5 days.

So the next time you start to dread loading up and going to the grocery store, check out Amazon.com Grocery. 

I guarantee you are going to love it!!!  If not.....well, then you are going to have to go to the store, load your cart, unload your cart on to the conveyor belt, load your car, unload your car when you get home and then put everything away in the cupboards.
