Amazon.com —
I have just had my second bad experience with Amazon. I love their selection and the ease of use of their website. However, twice now I have paid for expedited shipping that they claim will GUARANTEE delivery by a certain date. The first time the item was shipped to a completely different state - the shipper's fault, but I still think Amazon should have sent me my package again and dealt with the shipper, since I didn't do anything wrong. I took a chance again last week - it's 3 days past the guaranteed delivery date and all Amazon can tell me is what the order tracking website says. After 4 emails from customer service, I find out the shipper delivers to the local post office, who then delivers the package when they feel like it, apparently. So if you tell me that up front, fine. However, don't guarantee me delivery by a certain date if you can't actually guarantee that.
