GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Fortunately we purchased the extended warranty because as soon as the year warranty expired, parts have been breaking on this refrigerator's ice maker routinely. Unbelievable. This thing has been cheaply made and parts are plastic which are replaced with metal ones which will last longer. The water filter is extremely difficult to change every six months. Otherwise, the ice cream stays frozen and it produces ice properly. The meat and veggies are cold in the refrigerator side and I have plenty of room to store what I want. Tall items are not an issue either. I have it in black and it does not show dirt or finger prints from the grandchildren. I am not sure I would recommend purchasing this item even though with the extended warranty every broken part has been promptly repaired.
