We bought this on a whim and am soooo glad we did. I was looking at an LG that some of my friends got and have to admit I am happy I went with my Amana instead. I know 2 of my friends that had issues with their LG within 6-9 months of purchase. I have had no problems at all. Durability My 3yo decided that he likes to stand on the handle to the freezer. I am well aware this is not a good idea but it just so inviting to someone that size. It popped off. When I called to have it repaired the repair guy showed up and taught me that it just slides back together. I loved that it was something so easy.
