I absolutely love the bottom freezer.  It is so convenient for digging for things from the freezer!  Even the smallest kids can reach.  (That could be a problem for some households!)  The refrigerator shelves are the best.  They seem to hold up very well.  they aren't cracked and broken even though we have had this unit for some time now.  There is plenty of space in the refrigerator and freezer and they each hold a lot.  The only complaint i have is with the handle on the freezer.  It is not attached very well at all and came off very shortly after we had purchased it.  It can be reaattached, but falls off very easily.  We have learned to pull open the freezer door by simply pulling on the side rather than the handle.  it becomes a problem if someone who is not used to this, comes into my kitchen and tries to open the freezer door.  Then it immediately falls off again!  The rest of the unit seems to be good quality; it is too bad they didn't figure out a better way to attach the freezer door!
