This fridge/freezer is wonderful. The fridge is on the top on this model. The fridge being on the top and the freezer on the bottom is the way every fridge should be made. By the fridge being located on top, it easier to access and since the fridge is accessed more than the freezer it only makes sense. The shelves are easily adjusted to what ever height works best. The door has large shelves for extra capacity. Clear shelves in the fridge make it easier to see everything. The freezer has a shelf and a drawer in it. This is very useful. Larger items or boxes fit nicely on the shelf and bagged items can go into the drawer. The price on this fridge/freezer is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this make and model of fridge to friends and relatives. Noise Level The fridge is very quiet. Can barely tell it is running. Interior Organization Shelves, drawers, and door shelves are all the right size. Ease of Cleaning All drawers and shelves are removable. They are easily wiped off with a cloth while in place as well.

I would give this refrigerator 5 stars except that after 5 years the ice maker stopped working and I think to fix it I would have to empty refrigerator and let it completely defrost Noise Level almost completely noiseless refrigerator Interior Organization Has sliding shelves, they are also adjustable. Very satisfied. Had this refrigerator for quite a while now, absolutely no complaints. Works great. Keeps everything at the perfect temperature. Bought refrigerator brand new from a local dealer here on Cape Cod. Freezer failed after 2 years of use and when we went to contact the dealer they had gone outta business. Called Amana Customer Service and said the'd have someone out for a service call in 8 days and "see what they could do."

The **Amana ABB1924DEW** is your basic refrigerator.  It freezes well and it keeps the food cold.  The controls are in the front on the inside of the refrigerator section.  I have noticed that once in awhile the kids have changed the temperature.  I do like the fact that the shelfs are glass and not wire shelving.  It makes small spills easy to clean up because it doesn't drip from the top shelf onto food below and all over the refrigerator.  You just have to clean the shelf off.  The shelves are easily removed to wash in the sink or to adjust to different positions.  In the refrigerator's door it can hold a gallon of milk.  It has one small drawer in the middle to hold items and two bigger drawers at the bottom. The only problem that I have is that the ice maker will make ice when it wants to.  At times you can hear it run but won't make ice and then maybe a couple of weeks later it will make ice, maybe once or a hundred times in a row and then it won't make ice again.
