I absolutely love this stove. It works incredibly well. I wasn't positive that I would be totally happy with it, but it has totally exceeded my expectations! Temperature Control It took me a little while to get used to the temperature controls because it seems to run hotter than my old stove. Once I figured out exactly how everything heated up I was very happy with this stove. Heat Distribution I think this stove heats very evenly. The burners heat up under the glass and they appear to be lighting up evenly. Also, when cooking it seems that the pans all heat up evenly all the way across. There are no hot spots where food burns, or a hot side of the pan like on my old stove. Durability So far, so good! I have found this stove to be very durable. I was a little worried about the glass top, how durable it would be but it's stood up to a bit of abuse so far with no problems at all. Ease of Cleaning I've found this to be very easy to clean. It's so nice that the top is flat! Wiping it down is so much simpler without any burner pans to take out and clean!

I have had my Amana oven for about six years and I am not overly impressed with it! I switched from gas to electric and that may have been my first mistake! It is so difficult to make that change, and I have to say that I still like cooking better with a gas stove! Temperature Control I find it difficult to control the temperature on this Amana Electric Range. I can never seem to get the right amount of heat when cooking on the stove top. Heat Distribution The uneven heat on this electric range is so frustrating! Durability I have not had my Amana oven long enough to know how durable it will be in the long run but I am not extremely impressed with the overall performance of this oven! Design I do not have any major complaints about the design of the Amana oven. Ease of Cleaning I absolutely hate cleaning this oven top! It stains so easily when food spills. I am constantly spilling water when trying to heat it and the stains are so incredibly hard to get out! I even purchased the special electric oven cleaning gel and that does not remove stains.
