Semi-Awesome Stove/Oven by Amana

I personally like this oven, but I do not like the stove top. It takes a while to heat & when it does heat on high (10) it doesn't come to a roaring boil no matter what the substance is. However, it does get the job done. It only takes about 2 mins longer than most stoves. Temperature Control The stove-top could use some work. I'm not sure if it is just my model that I personally use or if there is a major defect in all the heating coils made for this particular stove. My stove is quite new, & should not have any issues. However, the stove was a gift & may be slightly older than anticipated. Heat Distribution Again, this stove could use some looking into. It does not heat nearly as hot as the stoves I used to have. Durability The Amana stove/oven seems to be very durable. I have had no issues with any of it falling apart or coming loose. I can't see any reason not to call it a winner for durability. Design The design is very sharp. A vibrant, clean bright white with a jet black glass stove top. The temperature controls are digital & are very touch sensitive, so no need to worry about having to press firmly & wear it out. Ease of Cleaning It cleans so easily, I use Windex cleaner on mine for a streak free stove top. Windex also helps get ride of grease spills & tough caked on stains. I noticed this when I needed to clean the heat level knobs.
