Great Memories, Family Movie, Funny, Cute, It's the Chipmunks!

Watching this movie makes me think back to my childhood, I loved the cartoons then and loved this movie even now almost twenty years later. I can honestly say that my children loved this movie but I think I loved it a little more. I was thrilled to see that they have not even changed the story line or the characters in the movie. I think I was five or six when I watched my first episode of Alvin and the chipmunks. My kids thought I was lieing to them when I told them when the chipmunks came out until I showed them some old episodes I kept on tape. I loved the idea of having a family video that my children loved as much as I did. The only thing missing in the movie was the girls, where were they at? I can't wait to see some of the other movies that they come out with from the old cartoons that i used to watch. I guess I shouldnt say this put I almost wet myself laughing so hard in this movie. I loved it and I had to buy it the day it came out on dvd. I saw it three time in the theater and have watched it five times with my kids since I bought it. I am really curious why it took them so long to come out with the movie, but all in all I am glad that they decided to do it. I have loved the chipmunks almost all of my life and I am glad that my children love watching them with me.
