The Chipmunks are as mischief prone as remembered. I did miss Theodore's love of cooking and Simon's brainy chemical tinkering, but all together, it was a wonderful adventure on how three chipmunks and a human became a family. The new "Dave" lacked the vocal exasperation of the original when yelling for Alvin. Overall, however, I found the movie an entertaining one that had my children laughing and signing to the music they were familiar with and me singing with some of the old favorites. A great family movie or just to relive a childhood favorite.
