I saw a dermatologist about my acne a couple of years ago, and he though that my acne might actually be rosacea. I had never even considered that, but I immediately started looking for a treatment. I found the Alva treatment gel, and I decided to give it a chance. After a month of using it, I saw a dramatic reduction in the bumps on my cheeks. I was still getting breakouts on my forehead and my chin, but they weren't as dramatic. This gel didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. I had absolutely no side effects from it. The morning after using it, my skin felt very soft, and it looked healthy. I'm still not sure if my red bumps were a result of acne or rosacea, but this Alva gel definitely helped. I use it twice a day, and I use it five days a week. I would use it every day, but it's a little expensive. I used it seven days a week for a while, but it didn't make a difference. So, I decreased the usage to save a little money.

After two days, I noticed the difference in my face and the red marks had become lighter and after using it for a week, the marks totally disappeared. This product is one which I absolutely did not expect to work. After being convinced by my father, I tried this on a stubborn area of acne and it was gone within two days. I tend to get really painful and stubborn subcutaneous cysts around my chin and cheeks. I have tried numerous products and nothing has really worked until Prosacea. My father also has chronic skin issues which flare up frequently. He has told me the same thing: nothing really worked except this product. He was on long-term antibiotics, which he did not feel comfortable using. We are both glad Prosacea works! Effectiveness I have tried many different high-quality products to help me with painful acne. Some are effective, but most are not. This product completely took me by surprise when it ended up healing my skin within two days! Ease of Application Prosacea is easy to apply: just wash your face then dab the cream onto the affected area. Convenience Prosacea comes in a small tube that you can take anywhere. It has a sturdy screw on top so it will not burst in your bag or pocket. Side Effects Prosacea did not give me any side effects. After washing my face, I just applied it to the affected area. It does not leave any residue, or burn, or itch.

I would rate this product an 8 not because of its effectiveness as it works well to relieve the symptoms of Rosacea. However, I found that I could not apply the gel more than twice a week at most. Effectiveness I found this very effective in removing the dryness and bumpy feeling that I sometimes experience on my face. I found that it is absorbed quickly into the skin and does not have a greasy feeling. Ease of Application This Rosacea treatment gel is very easy to put on. All you have to do is place a damp on your fingertips and apply to the area which is effected. Convenience I found it very convenient because all you have to do is put a dab on your fingers and rub it into the area where it is needed; Side Effects Although this cream works well for those suffering from Rosacea, I found that it was a little irritating for my skin. Perhaps the reason for this was because my skin is very thin. This is the reason why I only apply the gel once or twice a week. Test this product on a small area to see if you have a reaction to i. This product is okay. I like that it is inexpensive but you do kind of get what you pay for. I thought it took a bit long to see or feel any results, but once it started working it worked for my red skin. i dont like to use too much or else i feel a residue on my skin but you dont need to use too much so its alright

I don't have server rosacea , but i do have a lot of redness on my face. I was happy with this product, after 1 month of using it, it reduce a lot of my redness and even got rid of some breakouts. It does dry up your skin some but my skin was already dry to begin with.

I recently saw a commercial for Prosacea Gel, and just had to give it a try. My rosacea has been flaring up quite a bit lately, and I ran out of my expensive serum. I have only been using Prosacea Gel for one week, but, I can tell a noticable difference. My skin is still red, but not as red as it has been being. I start out by washing my face in the morning, then applying a very small amount to cheeks, nose and forehead, rubbing in a circular motion. A little bit goes a long way. The box says to apply up to three times a day and Ive been doing just that, in the morning, at lunch, and again at bedtime. I am hoping that after a few weeks of use, my redness will start to fade. I was surprised at how cheap this was too, the serum I had cost around 80.00, this Prosacea Gel was roughly ten bucks! Yay! The only downside I can find is the smell, the product is sulpher, so it does have a slight smell. My husband and kids have not said that they notice anything, but, I can definitely smell it a little bit. But, I can handle the smell if it works!
