I am itching like crazy - or I was.

Someone let me borrow some Triamcinlone Acetonide. OK. I know it's not cool to borrow perscription meds, but if you had been itching this much, you would have too.

I did do the research online. This med isĀ for redness and itching. It can also be used on mouth sores, but this jar says not to be ingested. My mouth is no issue anyway. I am rubbing this on my arms and legs and places I will not mention.

The person who was kind enough to share this had problems with poison ivy break outs. So, he keeps this on hand for that problem.

I needed it to take the edge off mosquito bites. It should not say bites. I do not get the red dots like most people. I get these hugh lumps and itch. It's bad enough that I can't even sleep. And, of course, mosquitoes love me to boot.

I am seeing the doctor tomorrow. It's actually just a check up, but the timing is good. I will talk with her about this mosquito problem.

One thing I do know is that Triamcinolone Acetonide does help on the itching. I am OK right now and ready to head to bed. With Benadryl Cream (which is a very good product), I had to get up and put on more. I hope this will last the night. I really hate to get up itching and try to find and put on itch cream when I'm half awake.

Naw. I don't want to hear anything but the truth. I'm not selling the stuff. I just found that it stopped my itching. I never used it for a month - only a day or two. No stretch marks here other than a couple of baby stretch marks from way back. Sorry you didn't like it. Glad you checked in. I just say how things worked for me. It helps others to hear different views and experiences.

I know you probably want to hear that this cream works wonders, but for me I still itched after using it for a month and one side effect is that it leaves stretch marks. I broke out with the "PR" virus and had itchy bumps everywhere. My doctor perscribed me this cream and I don't like it.

Here's a non-prescription treatment, if you don't think it's too smelly, rub Avon's Skin-So-Soft bath oil on the bites. My father had the same problem (allergic and always forgetting repellent) and this stopped the itch in its tracks.

As the old saying goes... to itch his own.
