Sometimes, basic is simply better!

My sister was having some plumbing problems at her house so I invited her to my house to use our shower. After she left, I discovered that she left a bottle of Alpha Hydrox White Basic Face Wash on my shower shelf. I called to tell her and she told me to try it because she thought it was a really good product. I tried it and then liked it so much that I never did give it back to her. Heh! Drugstore.com sells this product for a mere $5.49 but free sounded better to me. ;)

Alpha Hydrox Face Wash Cleans All Skin Types Better Than Soap

skin conscious, value and quality conscious, very happy with this product

Now that I'm getting older, my face isn't as excessively oily as it has been for most of my life. I recently noticed that the medicated facial cleansers that I've used for years with no problem are now beginning to cause my skin to sting a little. It seems that my skin no longer requires the heavy-duty, oil-absorbing, acne-fighting ingredients that used to be part of my daily routine.
