Everything old is new again!

I've always prided myself on my smooth porcelain-like skin, always receiving comments on it. Then one day I got old. I don't know when it happened or how, but it wreaked havoc on my once beautiful skin! I was so frustrated with the dull, old look of my face. It didn't feel the same, it didn't look the same and makeup didn't help. In fact, I think it made me look worse. I knew I needed to do something but wasn't sure where to begin.

I tried various products you see in magazines that are supposed to bring back that "youthful glow", but none worked for me. Then one day I was reading reviews of anti-aging products when I saw Alpha Hyrdrox AHA Souffle. The reviews were mixed, love or hate, no in between. I liked what I read so I thought I'd give it a try. And as luck would have it, Walgreen's had it on sale.

With 12% Glycolic AHA, it is supposed to improve texture and tone. Just what I needed. The product claims to:

"* Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and evens skin tone
* Proven to show significant and measurable improvements in skin's condition after six weeks
* Contains Peptides to help plump up and improve skin's texture
* May prolong the effects of Botox® and Microdermabrasion
* Helps to prevent signs of skin's premature aging with Antioxidant Vitamins and Green Tea
* Contains Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acid which is highly recommended by dermatologists"

While I'm not having problems with lines and wrinkles (yet), my skin tone and condition was really bad. The product says that stinging may occur when first using, and I did feel a little bit of stinging on my first application. Also, if I've been out in the sun more than usual and use the product it will sting slightly. Nothing major, didn't turn my face red or anything.

After the first application I noticed a smoother feel to my skin which excited me...maybe this will work! After a couple of weeks, I noticed my makeup went on easier and looked better, my face was smoother and by golly it did have a youthful glow! I continued using this product every night and was pleased.

Then, we moved and somehow my little bottle got lost and I quit using it for about five months. Back to where I was! My skin was looking dull and the tone was bad. Purchased a new bottle of Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle and once again, my skin is looking much better!

In closing, this product is light and non-greasy and does what it says. My skin looks better every day! I will never go without my Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle again!
