I love Aloette products because a little bit of them go a long way. The same is true for the Hand and Body Silk. Most lotions make me feel greasy, and once I wash my hands, the moisture is gone. Hand and Body Silk really leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized all day even after washing my hands. It is really great to apply allover the body. While I love this product a great deal, I do have to say that it contains fragrance. While some find this scent pleasant, I am not a huge fan of it. It is not a scent that I cannot tolerate however. It just isn't one that I put on because it smells amazing. I use it because it works as a lotion. I wish this product came in several different scents. i would recommend this to anyone who needs a daily lotion. I would not recommend this product to anyone who cannot tolerate fragrance. Also, if you are looking for major moisturization, this product is only good for daily use. I do not feel that it is a good option for those who suffer from severe dry skin. The fragrance also causes it to burn if you have cracks in your skin.

The Aloette Aloepure Hand and Body Silk goes on smooth and silky but that's where the silk ends.  It didn't moisturize my hands at all.  Once the lotion was soaked in my hands felt and looked just as dry as they did prior to my using the lotion. The scent though lingered on much longer than the moisturizer.  It was a very strong floral/rose smell that reminded me of my grandmother.   The bottle says that,  - "This aloes enriched formula envelopes the skin in nourishing moisture." - "Deep penetrating emollients and essential oils maintain skin's natural moisture balance and smotthes away dryness."    I didn't have either of those things happen.  On the positive side the lotion is made in the USA and isn't tested on animals.   I love all the other Aloette products that I have so I was very disappointed that this product didn't moisturize better than it did.  This is one that I won't be recommending to my friends and family.
