Go away wrinkles!

3

When I was in my twenties, I looked forward to having a few wrinkles.  Crinkles at the eyes, especially, struck me as being a sign of character (...and wisdom?) That was then. This is now. I am in my fiftes and I have plenty of character, thank you very much. Don't need eye crinkles to prove it to the world!  But the crinkles are here.  Now, a few crows' feet don't really bother me.  It's the dang little dry skin indicators underneath my eyes that make me feel old.  I don't suppose there's anything, short of surgery, that can be done to address the sagging skin over the eye. But if an inexpensive cream can get the undereye creases to diminish, that's an easy fix. So I picked up a cute little jar of Almay's Hypo Allergenic Moisture Balance eye cream.  It's available at drug stores. It's not the financial commitment that a similar product from a department store cosmetics line would be.  Time your purchase right, and you might get a pharmacy-wide sale or a manufacturer's  coupon to make the experiment even less of an investiment. The stuff lasts forever. It seems to help.  I don't know if it's just temporarily plumping up the skin so that the recessed areas aren't obvious, or if it's really making the dryness go away. But I do suspect the eye area looks better/younger when this product has been used. The directions say to use it morning and night.  I usually only apply in the morning, pre-facial moisturizer and makeup foundation.  Maybe I'll try dabbing it at night too.
