Almay Intense i Color Powder Shadow Reviews

I have heard so many good things about Almay Intense i Color Eye Shadow that I just had to try it out for myself.  I'm a sucker for advertising and the claim to "bring out the blue" in my eyes sounded very appealing.  Who doesn't want prettier looking eyes, right?

Almay says: "Intensify your eye color with expertly coordinated, enhancing shades.  All day wear; color that won't crease or fade."

I have always been told that I have a very unique eye color. Also considering my eyes are my best facial feature, I strive to use products that compliment them. Almay has always been a favorite brand of mine and this "intense i-color" powder shadow has proved itself to stand up to the Almay quality that I count on.

First off, I will tell you that when I was young, my eyes were a defined brown. When I got into my teen years, they started changing colors, going from a dark brown to every shade of green and then even to gold. Now in my adult life, my eyes are an olive green with brown and gold specks...

I have been using the Almay Intense I color for brown eyes.  I'm pale, strawberry-blond and very sensitive.  I've had no problems using Almay's eye products.   I was worried at first that the colors would be too much for my pale self, but as long as I use a light hand with the dark brown in the crease, I'm good.  

I normally wear a pale champagne color on my eyes, but I'll pull out the Almay when I have more time to get ready.  I've found that whenever I wear the Almay colors, I get complements on my eyes.

     I have purchased the Almay intense i-color powder shadow Trio for hazels.  Being a hazel, I decided to pick it up.  I'm a nut for eye makeup, so I think if your eyes don't pop, what's the point?  This certainly does as it says.  I took photos after applying it to see how effective it was.

Almay Intense i color really worked for me and my hazel eyes. I wear glasses and found it hard to do makeup in a way that would still have my eyes 'pop'. Since I've been wearing this makeup (complete with the eyeliner and mascara) I have had so many compliments I can't believe it.

The colors are totally adaptable too. I go light during the day and darken it up a bit at night. I can be confident I can go from work to out with the girls in two minutes flat by just adding a little bit and all of a sudden have sexy sultry eyes. No redo needed!
