The color didn't apply evenly. I wouldn't get it again.

Hello, I just wanted to say this was my first time buying Almay eyeliner. I always buy 24 eyeliner by Revlon. But..... I had a coupon for Almay and decided to try it. I didn't like it at all . I did read some reviews and all of them are great. I have very oily skin, maybe that could haven been it. Sorry it didn't work for me,The color was very pretty. ,

I am not used to liquid eyeliner's I typically just use a pencil, so I was not that fond of the look I got with the liquid. I also found the liquid much trickier to apply so it is easy to get it in the wrong place, get too much, etc. I continued using it inspite of the challenges because I like that it stayed on longer and didn't rub off as quickly as my pencil. But when my friend commented that I must be using different makeup, I wasn't sure if I liked that kind of attention. I want my makeup to show off my face so that my features are noticed, I don't like my makeup to be the center of attention. The applicator is a brush on the tip of the long tappered lid/handle. The tappering of the handle does make the applicator a little more difficult to hold and get the precise definition you want in an eyeliner. The brush on the tip does seem to be good, it is small and stiff for definition, but soft and gentle on your eyelids. Sometimes however the product clumps to the brush and it can be challenging to get it off so that you don't get a glob of eyeliner.

I am not usually a big fan of eyeliners because they have a tendency to irritate my eyes, but I have had no problems with this product.  I was also a little weary the advertising saying that it would really bring out the color of my eyes, but I have to admit that it works exactly like it says.  I have hazel brown eyes and I bought the purple amethyst and I have really noticed how it makes my eyes pop.  My husband has also been making comments about how beautiful my eyes are looking...meaning the eye color...he has no idea that I am using different makeup.  I also love the ease of which I can put this eye liner on.  Not to mention...anything that you do not have to use a sharpener on is awesome.  It is also very easy to remove.  This is the first eyeliner that I have used for more than a couple of times that I will continue to use.  I am impressed.  I have not tried the eyeshadows yet, but that is my next step. I can honestly say that there is no other eyeliner for me.  This is my preferred product!

I first started using the Almay intense i-color products about a year ago.  I started out with the powder shadow trio and was quite pleased so I decided to also try the liquid eyeliner.  Prior to this purchase, I had never used a liquid eyeliner product before.  I bought that shade that matched my eye-shadow trio.  I am very pleased with the shade and the color stays on without smearing throughout the day.  The small brush applicator is tricky.  Clumps of the product can get stuck and make for a messy line.  I try to make sure there is no excess liquid when I start the application but I have still had problems.  Thank goodness, a wet Q-Tip works great for a quick clean up.  Although I am not thrilled with the brush, I do like the color and the fact that it doesn't smear or smudge.  I also like the price as it only costs a fraction of what I would pay at the department store. I am also pleased because I have very sensitive eyes and this product did not itch or cause any redness.

I bought this originally because I loved my co-workers eye makeup.  She said she only buys this certain brand and so I thought it was going to be expensive.  When she told me it was Almay I was amazed.  It is like having a little marker for your eyeliner.  It goes on smoothly-never clumpy and is not too much like other liquid eyeliners I've used with a little paint brush.  I can put it on without holding my eyelid in place and I've gotten a lot of compliments as well.  I've been using this product for about 11 years now and hope they don't ever take this off the market.  I usually use the brown color and wans't fond of another color that I bought one time by mistake --however, the applicator was still the same. I've never had any problems with this product except sometimes, I can't find it in all drug stores.  I'd give it a try if you like liquid eyeliner or hate the dragging part of pencil eyeliners!

This eye liner is fantastic. The applicator tip was thin enough to really get on my eyelashes; but it can also be used to make a darker line. I use a black eye liner as my every day look, and will continue to buy this brand. The color is a nice dark black, and really stays on my eyelid. When it is first applied, it really needs to dry before you try to apply anything else. If you don't let it dry it will smudge and make a mess. If you are applying it to your lower eyelashes, especially try not to blink so you don't get marks on your upper eyelid. It is really long lasting also; I can go out all night and my eyeliner will stay put. It doesn't always wash off that easily though so a good makeup remover is a must. My next purchases will be this eyeliner in the purple and green shades for when I want to add a little something to my look. I think that this is a must have for every make up bag!

I tried this product after having used pencils, including the Almay one in this same product family, and could not believe the difference.  No tugging, no skipping, the color goes on effortlessly, and the brown brings out the blue in my eyes wonderfully!  You do have to be conscious of how much you are using.  I find it helpful to wipe the excess off both sides of the brush on the inside edges of the bottle before applying.  I also use a Q-tip to smudge the lines if I'm not going for a dramatic look.  I am also impressed by the staying power - I still have eyeliner on when I get ready to remove my makeup at night, which is more than can be said for a lot of the pencils I've used.  I do, however, do a "finger correction" during the afternoon to make sure I don't have raccoon eyes on my lower eyelids, so there is a tiny bit of smudging that you should be aware of. For the money, you can't beat the quality of this product.  I've used this exclusively since I first tried it and don't see myself changing anytime soon.

Almay intense i-color liquid liner is the first liquid liner I have ever used. As a novice liquid liner user, i found my first several attempts with this product left me looking like Jennifer Love Hewitt after a few too many apple martini's. But, being determined not to have spent money in vein, i kept at it.  Almay does a good job with their eye makeup as far as it being non irritating. That is the most important thing for me. Especially since I am no pro when it comes to application, it is not uncommon for some makeup to stray.  It did feel quite cold going on, and i smudged it by touching it when it was wet. It took longer for it to dry then i would have liked. The point is like a skinny marker, but if you hold it to the side the line gets thicker. Also, the tip holds a lot of product and I had no way of scraping it down to a more manageable amount. If you don't hold the applicator at the same angle the entire time and for both eyes, you will get varying degrees of thickness with your lines. This is not a good look for anyone. Ask my 8 eight year old, who upon seeing my first attempt at this suggested I not go out. Thankfully Almay Intense Liquid i-color removes very easily with makeup remover.  The bottle has a very cool, sleek design,   the color is very intense, it washes off easily, it does not irritate your eyes.  If you want a bold dark outline to your eyes, this is your liner! I will keep this Almay liquid liner for when I want a more dramatic look, but this won't be a regular product that i get a lot of use out of.

I purchased the Almay Intense i-color liquid liner alone with the eye shadows to enhance blue eyes.  The liner went on beautifully, but smeared throughout the day.  I even spoke to a group of women, and came home to my husband telling my I looked like a racoon!  There were no other reasons for the liner-smearI had  not been crying, and it was not hot or humid outside.  This happened on several occasions until I discontiued use.  I continue to use the shadows, but have thrown away the eyeliner, what a waste :(
