I tried Almay's foundation in an effort to find a foundation that wouldn't break out my skin. The consistency and coverage was great, but the color was terrible on me. I have pale skin, and apparently pink undertones. The lightest 2 shades both looked like yellow paint on me. I give this makeup an average... review »

All the benefits of department store makeup at half the price
time starved, willing to spend money on my face, into finding great deals online, take care of my skin, into trying new things, willing to pay for quality, very happy with this product, very skin conscious

I used to wear Prescriptives makeup, having been introduced to it by a friend.  I did like Prescriptives a lot because of the color matching, but I didn't like having to pay almost $40 per bottle, and I felt that sometimes it didn't quite blend with my skin.  Another friend let me know that she was using "drugstore" makeup--Almay to be specific.  She said that all she did was take her makeup bottle to the store and match it visually.  My friend is very pretty and has good skin, so I thought about it.  I was still scared to get cheap makeup--I thought it might be lower quality.

I used to use Clinique's Super Balanced foundation for my combination skin.  I really liked it, but it became hard to spend $20+ per bottle when my husband started college.  In looking for a less expensive alternative, I tried Almay's Clear Complextion foundation.  I love it!  It has great coverage, but it isn't heavy.  I found a color that was a great match to my skin tone too.  It looks very natural.

I've tried many foundations from very cheap to expensive, drugstore to department store and this is my FAVORITE.  Most drugstore foundations make me breakout or they irritate my skin and Almay Clear Complexion is the only foundation that i've found that doesn't trouble or bother my skin.  I like the coverage it gives its not too dry so i dont look cakey or too oily either.  It lasts a long time and doesnt have such a strong scent like other foundations i've tried.  The only bad thing i could find is that its not totally transfer resistant and for being a drugstore makeup its a bit pricey compared... review »

Almay Clear Complexion Foundation is the answer for acne suffers, and those looking to control oil.  It doesn't clog pores, create new blemishes, become oily throughout the day, nor does it cause skin to become irritated or flaky.  It offers a smooth, creamy texture a natural flawless look that we're all craving.  Forget the mineral foundations, and department store foundations-you're wasting time and money.  It's frustrating, I  know.  Try Almay Clear Complex-you'll never go back!

Every foundation either 1) breaks me out, or 2) doesn't control oil well enough 3) doesn't last long enough or 4) look natural. This foundation satisfies all 4 of my criteria!  This  gives AMAZING coverage, and is very matte, but looks so bright and natural! The thing I love the most, is that this stuff keeps my very oily skin matte longer than the 100's of other foundations I've tried! It doesn't oxidize, or sink into pores, it is transfer-proof, lasts ALL day, even through summer heat/sweat, and best of all, my skin is starting to clear up! This makeup is light weight. It coverage is excellent. it has sacilic acid to help fight acne, which i have found that it actually helps.  it has a sun screne added to it. it doesn't streak.  it contains no oil, which has been great for my oily skin. I have actually been breaking out less since i have started using it.i deffinatly recommend this product for women with oily skin.

I am a beautician. Basically i used to try a lot of cosmotics which best suits to my skin. I frequently used to change the creams regurarly. This came to a stop whn i found almay clear complexion Liguid lotion which is seems to be equivalant to all the creams which i have used so far
