I started service with Alltel on January 30th 2008 and canceled service on February 2nd, 2008. All equipment was returned to the Metro Center location in Phoenix on January 3rd, 2008. After calling Alltel to let them know that I had returned the equipment to the store, they informed me that I have an outstanding bill of $133.31 and that they do not pro-rate and all fees must be paid. I was taken aback by the raised hair on my head! I said I was only with Alltel for 3 days and made TWO phone calls within the My Circle calling plan (which are FREE) and simply started their service so I could...
Alltel has gotten bill messed up and charged me for equipment I returned on the day after I got it and still made me pay for it. When I called about it they said they took the charge off my bill but they put t back on for the next bill, i GUESS THEY THOUGHT I WOULD NOT NOTICE. I called then back and they said there was no mistake and made me pay for equipment I did not even get. They have done this befor but the coustomer is not there first priarity. They just take your money any way they can. And I can not change companys becuse of a contract that cost too much to pay your way out of . And I can...

I recieved a new phone (Motorola Rckr which I love) when I started my plan up in January 2008. Well when they say its to good to be true they are right because I have been in to the store, and on the phone with there tech support at least once a week since I have started. I cannot send picture messages and regular...
read full review »We have had Alltel for about four months now. We have the family plan and that allows us to speak with each other and other Alltel users, without using up our minutes. Last month we received a notice telling us that Alltel has now joined up with Verison. Now we can also call Version users free, which is a plus as we do have many friends with Verison. We had Verision last time, and after that went to Trac phone. We were not too happy with Trac Phone as we were always using up our minutes. Being we had friends that were happy with Alltel we decided to try them too. When we had Verison...

I received a LG phone for $28.00 with a 2 year service agreement. Alltel offered many other phones for free, but the LG met my needs. I love the personal network option and can call 10 numbers (11 including my home phone) without using up any minutes. This is at anytime of the day. I can also change my personal network at any time. I am not a "phone talker" and appreciate the fact that alltel has plans for someone who doesn't...

I have many friends and family that use other providers and they have complained about poor service, high bills, not enough options. I love that Alltel has MyCircle and you can add so many numbers to your circle and not have it count towards your minutes of use. I only use a cell phone for ALL my phone calls and if I were to switch to a different provider, I'm sure my bill would be through the roof for all the minutes my husband and I use. I also enjoy the ability to change my plan as needed without...
