Alltel —
I've been with Alltel for over two years and have received nothing but horrible customer service through out the two years. I began my plan with two phone lines, paying easily over 150.xx - 200.xx per month for both. Due to not traveling as much, I attempted to lower my monthly payment by modifying my plan from a nationwide plan to a so called "regional plan". When speaking to the Alltel rep, he offered little to no options when making this adjustment and could only guarantee a 10 - 20 dollar decrease per month on my bill once the adjustments posted to my account. I continued my service with Alltel through the beginning of this year when my contract expired in January. I ATTEMPTED to remove one of the phone lines from my plan and was told by an agent that this phone line had been removed. The following month I noticed that this had not been done and that I was still being charged for this line. I ATTEMPTED to contact Alltel for the second time to remove this line. Once again, I received an un-educated agent who seemed to not know anything about what I was trying to do and offered no explanation as to why the line was not removed the previous month. I guess you could question my knowledge because I left this second call with the understanding that Alltel completed my request. Long story short, I'm in the fourth month in trying to remove this line off of my plan and have not been provided with a clear explanation (from agents or managers) as to why the line has not been removed. I'm enraged due to the fact that Alltel has not followed through with any PROMISES that they have made through out the two years that I've been a client with them.
