My family had alltel for a while. We didn't have any feelings on it, positive or negative, until we realized that we were getting a LOT of dropped calls. We had poor reception at our house, even though we lived close to the cell towers. The customer service was crappy, too. When I had a phone that was malfunctioning due to no fault of my own (it was only a week old, too), they refused to replace it because the insurance said they would give me a phone that was the same exact one, and they were out of that model. They were going to make me go to another store about 30 miles away. It wasn't until my father came into the store and started making noise that they gave me a slightly better phone.

We then switched to Verizon the second we could, and we haven't been happier!
