Allstate — 

 After a hail storm in July our roof began leaking, we had it patched by a roofing company while we were out of town until we could get back home and get it looked at. The following weeks we got slammed by hurricane Ikes winds as they roared through Ohio, at that time even more leaks became evident. The roofing company again patched the roof and we called in a claim on the roof.

 The claim was initiated the week of Sept 25th, at this point our neighbors had also made claims on damage to thier roofs. Claims were settled in average of 5 days. Allstate tells us they can't get an adjuster out until October 20th (26 days!!). Meanwhile neighbors roofs are fixed and I'm still waiting. I have called the claim center almost every third day and statements they understand my fustration and they will get with me in 48 hours after talking to a supervisor. I have not had one call returned and to top things off my agent is no help, a spineless creature with absolutely no customer service training.

 I have been with Allstate 15 years claim free, they have my two houses,four cars, a boat and recreational vehicle plus life insurance with me. This is about to change big time!. If I treated customers with this lack of passion I wouldn't have a job. I realize not everyone has had my experience but take my experience into your thoughts prior to choosing Allstate.
