Not good hands, just good at reaching into your pocket

on a budget, a low risk investor, an aggressive saver, on a strict budget

Unconcerned with problem with them., Reimbursements take several weeks, WHERE'S MY CHECK FOR NO ACCIDENTS EVER, high rate increases with claims, cares only for profit not the customer, Do not return calls timely, Commercials Are Annoying, High rates, Paying for their advertising., Don't answer phones.

We have had both our cars and house insured with Allstate for the last 20 years. Never in all those years have my husband or I made a claim. Recently, I had to make a claim due to an uninsured motorist hitting me. My car was repairable, was in garage-kept condition, and I wanted it repaired but Allstate forced me to total my car because they did not want to pay the money to repair it. Instead they gave me a riduculously low totaled amount and took my car as salvage knowing it would bring a good salvage value. Next they have tried to go back and charge the uninsured motorist, who was driving an unregistered car, while speeding and driving at night with non-working headlights for the amount they have paid me. The uninsured motorist had not even put a claim in against Allstate because he knew the auto he was driving was not even legal to be on the road. Now, they have ended up paying the uninsured driver 70% of his damage amount and blaming 70 % of the accident on me. They did not even have the nerve to call me and let me know what they had done. Not only do I think Allstate is the worst insurance company there is, I think they must be stupid. Over the last 20 years, I have paid them over $62,000 in insurance premiums and now they have just gone up on my insurance to make sure, I quess, that they get another $62,000 out of me. So after 20 years of faithfully paying Allstate a fortune, this is the way I was treated. Watch out, don't insure anything with them, they are good as long as you just pay and pay, but desert you when you need them.
