Allstate Review

My face was damaged in a "hit and run" accident in March 19, 2006. I understand that my insurance covered for uninsured driver which the driver could well have been. Long story short, Allstate told me on the phone three days after the accident that I would not be compensated unless I had the license plate or identification of the driver who hit me.

Let me tell you briefly what happened in this accident. I was driving North on I-15 in far left lane. It was a dark rainy evening, somewhere between 7 and 8pm. I felt something hit the rear passenger side of my car, pounding my car against the cement median. I remember my car flying in space. I remember the ambulance picking me up by the roadside.

I have had medical bills extending over $10,000.00 to repair my face. Allstate has not paid any of these bills. some of these bills have been turned into collection agents who have in turn filed charges against me in court. As to why these agents have elected to chase after me personally even though I have an attorney is something I will soon find out! If Allstate had paid upfront what they promised in the coverage I would not be going through this headache. My question is, why do you want to go through this mess if you have insurance? All my friends who know what happened to me have cancelled their policies with AllState. If I could, I would pay to enrol you in another company that would remember your premiums as well as the payout on time!
