I started using Alli not only because I have some extra weight to lose, but because I wanted to train my body to eat right. Alli works on the digestive tract, preventing fat from being absorbed into the body and therefore preventing it from sticking to your hips! I read all the warnings and information before I tried taking it. Needless to say, I found out that the side-effects were no laughing matter. If you eat more than 4 grams of fat in a meal, you will suffer from diarrhea, foul-smelling flatulence and sometimes abdominal cramping. Not exactly a great first impression when you're out to eat in a fancy restaurant.
Alli truly lives by all the hype. It helped me lose twice the weight I would have on diet and exercise alone. It helped me to eat better. Instead of nachos and cheese, I was choosing fresh vegatables as a side to my meals. Not only because I wanted to avoid the side-effects, but also because I knew that this was a better choice for me and my crusade to lose weight in the long run. Now, I find that I really enjoy the vegetables and vegetables and whole grains versus the high fat content food. I'm really happy with the results and I know you will be, too!
