Alli Diet Pills Review Summary

Glaxo Smith Kline's Alli is the first FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss pill to market. Alli has created quite a buzz is anyone interested in losing weight wanted to know if the diet pill would really be the weight loss through the been looking for. It's important to weigh the pros and cons of black goldsmith client ally before deciding to take this over-the-counter weight loss pill. Though Alli is effective at absorbing so of your dietary fat and can jumpstart your weight loss, there are some side effects to consider. Consumers complained of having the runs, oily discharge, foul odor and having to stay close to the bathroom. The bottom line is Alli may be the crutch you need to kick bad eating habits and lose weight. If, however, you don't currently eat high-fat diet or eat a lot of fried foods, Ally is not going to be your weight loss miracle.

Although this had a bad rap of effects (the runs, oily discharge, etc.) I have only good results with Alli. I have already lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks with the pill. This pill is not a "magic bullet" but helps me maintain my fat intake with every meal. If you do go over the limit (usually 15 grams a fat)... read full review »

To the Point

So there I was complaining once again to any one who would listen about the trouble I'm having losing weight. (Ok all of you under 50 who say it will never happen to you - just wait!) This time I was complaining to my Primary Care Physician who much to my amazement said that there was a new...

What works for one person, may not necessarily work for another.  I am a fine example of that!  A girl I work with was taking Alli diet pills and raved about how great they worked.  Although I couldn't see a bit of difference in her weight, she insisted she had lost a total of fifteen pounds in a little over a month.  So, I went out and bought a bottle of the pills.

What I liked about the program is that Alli doesn't want to starve you to death.  They want you to eat, but eat healthy foods in moderation.  Which was fine for me.  I like healthy choices.  The plan encourages you to limit...

Alli is the latest buzz in the weight loss industry. It is a diet pill coming out this summer that is FDA approved (the first ever!) and it is available over-the-counter.

What is Alli?

Alli is a new weight loss drug that is made by GlaxoSmithKline. It is half the dose of Xenical and it is especially a fat blocker. It carried a quarter of the fat you eat through your body without allowing it  to be absorbed or stored. This cuts down on your fat and caloric intake.

What About Diet and Exercise?

Alli only works if you follow a healthy diet and keep up on your exercise regimen. You have to be committed...

I have taken Alli for 2 months and can tell you that this stuff really does work. I will add that I am not eating high fat foods or junk foods either. You have to eat better in order to lose weight in addition to taking Alli for additional weight loss. If you are looking for one of those magic, burns off fat, while you sleep pills Alli is not for you. However, If you are looking for something that will enhance a well balanced diet and help you lose weight quicker than you normally do then Alli is probably the right thing for you.

Now I am no scientist but who needs a bunch of science "speak" telling...

Alli is not your typical diet pill.  You are not given false claims when taking this new pill.

When I first heard about Alli I was skeptical.  I have tried alot of diet pills and had no results.  Now to be fair I will say this, I love working out and eating right but sometimes I am not into doing both at the same time:-)  I do not go overboard with junk food.  I can watch what I eat, but I was never able to see results that these companies said would happen.

Ok, so I finally bought Alli at Sam's Club.  I paid less then $67 for 150 pills.  At other stores I would have paid just under $50...

Well, here it is....the next magic diet pill!  NOT!  Be real careful as you venture into taking Alli, and eating as much and as much fat as you want.  Don't do it!  You'll be sorry!  Alli is Xenical, or Orlistat, which came out a few years ago.  It grabs on to excess fat in the bowels and does not allow it to be digested and absorbed, therefore you are taking in less calories.  If you overdo the fat in your diet, I assure you, it will not be a pretty bathroom sight.  Therefore, use it as a jump start, and change a few of your bad eating habits, one at a time.  Pick one out each week, and... read full review »

I started taking alli about 8 months ago. At my age of 56, and taking a couple of medications that are known for causing weight gain, I had been at a weight that was undesirable by even my standards. I just could not lose no matter how hard I tried. Even doing exercises regularly did not help. I started taking alli sometime in June of 2007. The first few days I had what they called episodes but I knew it was because of all the fat already in my system. Once that was over I followed the alli plan and I have lost 24 lbs so far. That does not sound like a lot to some people but it has been like...

Alli is the best and easiest diet plan I have ever followed with great results. Alli blocks the fat you consume from your meals, making it easier to eat the foods you like, and still lose weight. The online meal plan offers great menus and a shopping list to help make the plan easy to follow. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to lose weight and keep it off by following the information available online. An extra added incentive is reward gifts they send you for meeting your weekly weight lose goals.

I tried this pilllast year shortly after it came out on the shelves. Within three months I lost 26 lbs walking 4 miles a day and eating around 1800 calories. I barely had to modify my eating and exercise habits. I was so proud of myself. This pill really changed my life!

I started taking Alli because I had recently put on some weight.  The greatest thing I can say about this product is that its the only diet supplement I've found that doesn't use stimulants.  Ive tried other pills that made me jittery or kept me up all night, so I needed something that was caffeine and stimulant free.  This does have side effects, but I think that Alli may have gotten a bad rap as far as that goes.  In my experience I've found that if I don't eat large amounts of fat I don't get any side effects at all.  If I screw up on my diet and eat a lot of crap, then I do.  I think... read full review »

I started taking this product after many people i knew were taking it.  Yes, i did know that i needed to be careful not to eat fatty foods while taking it.  i knew it would make me need to go to the rest room if i did eat too much fat.  Guess what?  i did it anyway and i would pay the price.  it almost scared me into not eating bad foods, more than the pills actually worked.  either way i think it did some good, it helped me start a diet plan, i didnt use all the pills and i am doing better now that i would have if i didnt take them at all.

thanks

I started taking Alli about 5 weeks now and have gone from 250 Lbs to 234.  I am 44 years old and very serious about getting back to my natural weight of 180.  You have to be commited to weight loss and excercise for this plan to work.  Diet in my book is a bad word the more appropriate terminology is lifestyle change.  There are a lot of great foods out there that are low in fat such as turkey burgers and shirataki noodles if you love pasta that you can substitute.  What it comes down to is wanting to look great, having lots of energy and living healthy.  Due to the fact that I do not consume... read full review »

The website tools are very helpfull also.  The diet is strict but works!  I'm a very picky eater and don't use their recipes but the nutrition log helps me to make my own diet plan and helps keep me in line with the calories and fat grams.  I didn't realize how bad my diet was until I started counting up what I eat.  I am alot more aware of what I take in now and have actually gone in 1 notch in my belt in the first month and hope to go another notch by the new year.

I've tried other products and wanted to try something new.  When I heard about Alli I thought it would be like the other products--no results.  It had results.  I read all of the booklets that accompany the product and found that the eating habits necessary to maintain weight loss were in line with what I wanted to do.  I exercise eveyday, write down what I eat, and cut down on my fat intake.  I lost 7 pounds in one month.  Thanks Alli!
