not. You can add wonderful pendant lamps to tracks by using a simple adaptor. Instructions are very explicit...a novice can wire the adaptor. Going from a bright spot light to the soft glow of red end-o'-day glass globes can change the look of your room without paint, paper or getting new furniture...who knew lighting could make such a difference?
