This is a great free website for anyone who loves to cook.  I love to use cookbooks, but sometimes it takes forever to find the perfect recipe, especially when you are not sure what you are looking for.  AllRecipes solves that problem because it has a recipe for almost anything.  It is easy to find what you want, because you can search by the ingredients you have or what you want to use.  I like it because you can customize your searches for specific diets like vegetarian or gluten-free.  I found a great recipe for chocolate cake, make that over 100 tested recipes for… read full review »

This is a great site to help clean out your pantry (what am I going to do with all that leftover pumpkin from Thanksgiving?). I love the "ingredient search" feature that lets you specify up to 6 ingredients that you want to use, along with items you don't want to include. That's especially helpful when cooking for guests with food allergies. Since discovering this site, I've nearly stopped consulting my own cookbooks except for a few old favorites.
