Dell V305 Dell printer
This is a very easy printer to use.
One of the other printers was less functional. When the paper ran out I had to restart the whole printing process all over.
With the Dell V305, I don't.
Canon MX860
Pros: Acceptable printing speed. Good and fast draft prints and copies. Quiet operation. Text quality is nearly laser sharp. Very good photo quality. Duplex printing and copying. Software that works well, unlike HP.
Cons: Can NOT produce proper COPY of documents with margins less than 0.25 inches. Borderless copy doesn't help. Can't print from USB keys. Poorly designed USB slot barely fits average USB key. No document preview on copy and scan on the LCD like HP has.
Summary: Let me start with the bad. I've been bugging Canon support for the past several days because I discovered a big flaw in the...

I have owned my printer for about 5 years without a repair, and it works as well as the day I took it out of the box. The ink is much less expensive than what my old Lexmark printer used. When the preferance is set to fast draft, you get twice as many sheets as the normal setting yields--perfect for personal use.
Hewlett Packard HP Deskjet F4440
I was amazed at how fast the printer went. Compared to previous printers that I have owned, it was amazing. No waiting, it immediately picked up what it was supposed to print and started right away.
Loading the print drivers was a siimple task that took very little time. Getting the printer to operate the first time took less than a half an hour. Instructions were simple and easy to understand.
I was happy to see that there was a new USB port wire included with the machine, even though it was not documented as being there on the box. It printed a test page & then told me to scan it, making its...

Hewlett Packard's PSC 1410v All In One is an essential tool in my daily life. I always need a copy of something, or a digital version of an old photograph, and with just the touch of a button, I can get that done without leaving my comfortable place. As the secretary of our fantasy football league, I have to print out weekly statistic sheets for the owners, as well as the league newsletter. Hewlett Packard has a great online support team that has never failed to help me with any problem or question that I may have. I needed a new USB cord, and the trouble-shooting feature in the help program...

For the most part, this has been a great printer / scanner / copier for me. The only problems I've had is printing business cards. Hard to set up cards right. You print the template, which comes out perfect, but when you print the cards, it doesn't line up properly. I've gone thru too much cards and ink to do this. Everything else though, is very good and much better than the Lexmark All in one printer I had previously to this, which was more expensive ink and didn't do many documents.
As for HP customer service, it's both good and bad. They get back to you very quickly, but tell you the same information,...

Canon PIXMA MP210
I love all the things I can do with this printer. I have had it for over 2 years and have not had one problem eith it.
On the down side you cannot use refilled ink cartridges in this printer and the refills can be pricey but if you do your homework you can find good deals

Hewlett Packard Photosmart C4480
I purchased my Hewlett Packard Photosmart C4480 about 8 months ago. My old printer "bit the dust" and I was looking for a reasonably priced printer. I found a deal for the HP Photosmart and I was very surprised at the price for a printer, scanner, and photo quality printer. I was on our class reunion committee (not saying what year!) and volunteered to make name tags with pictures from our yearbook. Using the scanner, I was able to create great quality pictures of my classmates along with their names. Using the scanner was so easy and printing the pictures up was a snap. I got a lot...

19 ppm; 1200 x 4800 dpi maximum printer resolution; USB; Flatbed scanner; 600 ppi scanner optical resolution; copier
The Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 922 is the only AIO here built around a photo printer engine instead of a standard one. That explains why it is one of the fastest for photos but is relatively slow for business apps. As you might expect for the price, its AIO features are minimal, with no ADF or fax modem.
The 922 does offer the choice of four or six colors in its two cartridges, bringing its focus slightly more to photography. You can either load black and tricolor cartridges for...

I own a Lexmark 2600 Series printer. After I bought my computer, I wanted and needed a printer to go with it. I was looking for something inexpensive and something that would have all the features available at my fingertips. My Lexmark printer not only prints in black and white, it prints in color. I am able to make copies with it. One such example is the template I made on my computer and sent to the printer. I was able to print 5 advertisement on one sheet and then clip and distribute. I have also printed business cards. I love the fact that it is smart and asks you for the manufacturer and type...
