Living in the country (surrounded by trees) has it's definite advantages and disadvantages.  I've never seen so much natural beauty on a daily basis but the downfall of all the trees is that whenever the wind blows and tangles up with power lines...everyone in our neighborhood loses their power.  This happens quite frequently during the summer months and I'll never forget the day that my husband purposely came home early to watch the All-Star Baseball Game.  As soon as he sat down to turn on our huge HD television...the thing cut out.  He ran out of the front door so fast that I didn't have a chance to ask him where he was going.  About a half hour later He came in with All Power America's 3500 Watt Generator.  Losing our power than was a blessing because we never have to worry about that again.  It runs on Gasoline and keeps everything running for eight hours or until you put more gas into the tank.  It does sound a bit noisey but it's better than being without light and necessitites during the bad weather.  My husband got to see his game.  This unit was not very expensive because it is a smaller generator but good enough for our needs.  So happy that we invested in one!
