Quick View: I have written a lot of reviews about my various written journals and how much I love to hand write in unique journals. This journal, All About Me, is more of a gift to someone after it's filled out or good to give as a gift and ask for it back filled out. Filled with all kinds of questions to answer, this journal gives a snapshot of the person filling it out, from simple things like favorite color to complex things to biggest regrets. I bought this book after reading a positive review about it here at Viewpoints (Thanks PattyTherre!) As a genealogy buff, I had been thinking about getting more information from my mother, as she is getting on in years. When my grandmother passed away, she left me a few letters describing her life. It was good information to know, but I found myself wishing I had thought to ask her more probing questions to get a more complete picture of her life. Are you looking for a one of a kind gift? Is the recipient hard to please or have everything that they could ever want? This book is the answer! The book features many questions with blank lines to fill in the answers. Some questions are though provoking, some fun, some will bring back long forgotten memories. I love, love, love these books!!!

There are at least two books in this series. There is this one and a relationship book entitled, "All About Us". I am a huge, huge fan of these books!!! — What this book is, is a series of questions to get inside and find out who you really are. You write your answers directly in the pages. Alot of these questions are very deep and personal, so it can sometimes help you figure out things about yourself that you wouldn't normally realise. — I personally enjoy going back a year or two later from filling the book out and writing in new answers. All About Me can serve as a fine tool for improving your self-knowledge; it's also been used by couples who want to get to know each other better, and would make great fodder for getting a party going (especially the question, "Does a photo of you naked exist?"). Fun to fill out

This book is really cool and I can see how it could be therapeutic and take the "reader" on a journey to get to know themselves. Unfortunately as a new mom, I just to not have the time to do the "work" right now. The questions run the gamut, but many of them require lots of introspected thought and then rethought before you put your thoughts down on paper. I would say if you have quite a bit of spare time then you should absolutely get this book - it seems fun and frank and like the benefits would be tenfold. A boy gave me this book as a way to ask me to banquet. The "clues" I followed to find out who was asking me were the answers to many questions in this book. It was a FANTASTIC ice breaker and when He wrote in the front about how many people are very mundane and predictable, but not me. I was unique. I think I cried. I bought this book as a gift for my girlfriend. I filled it out and gave it to her for an anniversary. It was one of the best gifts I could give her. The other gifts were second to this book.
