Alka Seltzer Plus Cold & Cough Medicine Reviews

I am not one to pop pills for every little ache or discomfort. I prefer to let nature take it's course and the body heal itself, whenever it possibly can. It does not mean that I am anti medication. It's just that, from time to time,  I want my body to develop and retain the power to fight the bad bugs without any outside help. However, there are times when you absolutely need to feel a 100%. I was very skeptical, because I've tried Alka Seltzer (for upset stomach) before, and it was so nasty I swore I'll never drink it again. I suffer from sinus and throat infections come and go as they please. When my throat started to itch and feel uncomfortable one of my co-workers gave me a package of Alka Seltzer Cold & Cough "Citrus flavor" and told me to drink it now, and go buy me some more and keep on drinking it.  Even though I've heard it takes around 20 mins. to feel better, I didn't really feel better right away. I have seasonal allergies and suffer from colds quite often. My husband and I keep this product on hand at all times. We use to use Nyquil until one evening we were out and I called a neighbor for some cold medicine and she gave me this product. I have never used anything else since. They say there is no cure for the common cold. Maybe not but alka seltzer is the closest thing to a cure.
