Amazing quality!

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

**WOW!** I just purchased the **Jawbone 2** Bluetooth headset to go with my new Blackberry Bold phone and I can't say enough good things about it.

First things first, it looks very unique. The "weave pattern" is a real departure from anything else out there that I've come across... very stylish. It has two "buttons" but because of the way this is designed, you can't even see them. One button (located on the face of the headset) is to power the headset up, turn it off, take calls, etc. The other "button" (located at the rear of the headset by the earpiece) is the volume and to either activate or de-activate the "NOISEASSASIN" technology... more on that in a little bit.

But let's be honest, looks may be somewhat important but how's the sound quality? In a word... FANTASTIC! This headset does everything that it's promised to do.

Talking to people through the **Jawbone 2** headset is like talking to them face to face (at least that's what I've been told by people on the other end of my phone calls). The sound quality is so clear that you can't even tell you're talking on the phone and with the "NOISEASSASIN" technology, there is very little chance that you'll miss any part of your phone conversations no matter where you might be and how noisy your surroundings might be. It truly does work as promised.

I was a little "gun-shy" about getting a Bluetooth headset because I figured how good could they be, but this HAS to be the best... it can't get any better than this. There's just no way.

The cost is a little steep but if you're looking to get the best Bluetooth headset out there on the market today, you've got to go with the Jawbone 2. Trust me, you'll love it.

Jawbone 2...Beneath all the Hype...Average at Best

By

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

When I first saw the jawbone commercial, I was liked I definitely have to get one of those. Unfortunately at the time, jawbone bluetooth headsets are anything but cheap. So after several generation of jawbone headsets passed by, I decided to take a look at the market to see what discount they have on this model. Voila, it seemed most online retailer were clearing out this particular model. This was the perfect chance to pick one up so I jumped on it. It turned out, it was pretty much all hype. Compared to my Plantronic Voyager, the voice quality was slightly worst. It was however better than my LG HBM-235. Noise Assassin works somewhat, but it wasn't as big a difference as I thought. However, what I found quite annoying beside the horrible battery life and low volume was the overall fit and comfort of the device. Jawbone 2 is just not very comfortable to wear and simply it just doesn't stay on your ear as good. In fact, my only option was to get the Jabra eargel for this set, and even with that, I still don't find it to be a comfortable fit. This was my first jawbone headset, and probably my last one as well.

Cool design but sound quality is so so.

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

The Jawbone 2 is my first headset, I decided to buy this BT after I read many reviews and because of the very nice design, it was easy to pair with my iPhone 4 but sometimes I need to turn it off/on several times to get connections. It comes with ear loops and rubber earbuds which is a big advantage altough you can use it without it but for my it doesn't works. One of the big issues of this model is that in order to operate the noise cancalation you need the white botton to touch your cheek all the time. The charger has a nice patent, the connector attaches magnetically. The volume is very low and it is very dificult to hear while driving even if the volume is set to its maximum level. The battery life is quite short.

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

Everyone who talks to me does not hear any wind noise or static. Crystal clear on both sides. Absolutely love it.

You can get a better earpeice for pennies (on ebay) and it is well worth it, as is will stay in your ear.

The stuff of legend....

By

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

The Aliph Jawbone 2 wireless headset is the stuff of legend. I really cannot think of a better way to describe this headset. First off, it looks great and it is clear that at least one person at the company took a serious look at the design on purely aesthetic grounds and decided to make sure that the device was not only excellently functional, but also looked great on someone. There is really nothing worse than attempting to look professional with a bluetooth headset in your ear and it looking like you are some alien cyborg. The Aliph Jawbone 2 resolved that problem with a stylish, sleek headset that makes you look modern and cultured. On top of all this, the sound is wonderful and crystal clear and the battery life is phenonmenal. The only trouble spot is that it takes a bit of adjustment to make sure that the device stays on your ear and refrains from falling off. Therefore, based on all this, I would highly recommend the Aliph Jawbone 2 wireless headset.

you look at this thing and think what the heck is it? amazing

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

I love this headset, small and compact, it works perfeclty.  I bought one for everyone in my office, will be giving it as christmas gifts next year, and have two in my house.  It is so well made, has a great battery life, looks great, and has crystal clear sound.  I wish I had more of these for when I lose mine, maybe I will swipe some from my employees -just kidding LOL.  But really, for the price, you just absolutely can't beat these .  I love using them, they are cute, compact, and so high tech looking, very current and with the time.  I need to keep up with the joneses so this is so perfect for me.  Cutting edge and very chic.  I will be asking my son to get one too if he wants to be in the know.  Electronics are very important in our lives these days and if you want something that works well and is dependable then get one of these, they work great, and they stay on your ear well, and totally greaty.

Surprisingly average

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

Jawbone products seemed to be getting rave reviews, so purchased one..

The packaging is excellent. Classy plastic case, neatly packed earpiece, quality peripherals.

As probably mentioned by other reviewers, the earpiece is difficult to get a good fit. I've even tried aftermarket gel-earpieces and still had a hard time. Especially since the connect-disconnect-on-off button works by pressing the outer casing, attempts to re-set the loose earpiece has caused many accidental disconnects. I think this issue has been addressed in the Icon. The Prime also experiences this problem, i believe.

I have paired this with my iphone, and I have been told many times that my voice is heard intermittently. I get break-ups in my voice. I believe the noise cancellation works quite well.

I love the little magnetic attachment method the charger uses. However it seems to sometimes think that the unit is fully charged, then decides to charge it more when I check on it at a later time.

Don't think I can fully recommend this earpiece.

Great headset!

Comments about Aliph - Wireless Headset:

I've had my Jawbone 2 for a few years now, it's still going strong. I have to admit, I hate wearing headsets and think that people who wear them 24/7 just look plain foolish. The Jawbone has always been the only one that I feel look classy and simple and go great w/ whatever you're wearing. It doesn't look like an outlandish hi-tech device that many Plantronics and other brands do. As for the sound, I've never had any problems w/ the audio quality. It is simple to use and charges full in less than one hour (at least for me). I do feel that it can use more range because if I leave my phone in my room and I head to the garage I start getting statics. I know one major drawback for Jawbone is its higher price but this is one item where I feel the price is justified because it is very well designed and well made, and is built to last. I would highly recommend this bluetooth headset over any others out there on the market today.
