I love sweet potatoes, but rarely have time to make my own sweet potato fries. Which is fine by me, because Alexia's are even better! Sweet potatoes are high in fiber and vitamin A, and I find these sweet potato fries even more flavorful than french fries.
You preheat the oven to 400 degrees, then bake them 10 minutes, give the pan a shake, and bake another 10 minutes. Since I make them in the toaster oven, I usually switch on the toaster at the end for added crispiness.
The only gripe I have is that I usually get only two servings per bag, whereas the serving size is supposed to be 3-4...
review »I don't always want sweet potato fries, but when I do want them I find myself craving Alexia's! They're just about the perfect blend, and the right size and shape (and yes, that's important!) to pair with salmon or burgers. I'm a total french fry junkie, and these are not only versatile but delicious! Even though they are a little pricier than I'd usually like, they're frequently on sale at Target and our local grocery store.
