ALDIs is a dream come true during a time of high oil and gasoline prices.  At ALDI the prices on staples such as milk, sugar, eggs, orange juice, cereal, frozen shrimp, salmon are the prices of a year or more ago at the "regular" markets. I belong to Sam's Club and have realized that ALDIs prices are LESS than Sam's most of the time!  I love the German coffee, German preserves, Austrian chocolate.  I don't eat processed food, so a lot of what ALDIs carries does not interest me, but some of the produce is good such as potatoes, onions and apples.  The tomato sauce is comparable to Newman's Own, although I do have to read the lables carefully as we do not eat anything with high fructose corn syrup in it and the five cheese tomato sauce does contain it, whereas the marinara does not.  So between Trader Joe's, ALDIs and Sam's Club, my grocery bill is between 25-35% less than in a traditional market such as Stop & Shop.  Now I don't have to hunt through the flyers for sales as AlDIs is always a sale!!

I wish ALDIS was closer to my house. When I'm on the far side of town, I do shop there though. Very nice prices.
