Aldi Food Stores Review

Aldi in Rocky Mount, NC is  wonderful shopping experience. The store is always clean, well stocked, and full of bargains.

Aldi's is a place in which one can buy groceries, meats,  fresh produce as well as items such as clothes and even bedspreads, toys, and bath towels! One may think, well this is just another place such as Wal-Mart or other super store chain.  Although Aldi may be a chain of successful stores, it is far from being just another ordinary super store. In fact,it's better!

When one goes to the store, you need to have a quarter to get a shopping basket. Don't worry, you will get your money back when you return the cart to the corral. The reason for having to use the quarter is elementary: people  will  return the cart to the corral to get their shiny quarter back; that in turn saves Aldi money from not having to purchase more carts; and if they save money, the consumer saves money!

The store is laid out like any normal grocery store and you can find just about anything you need. Most of the products are not named brand products; however, they are just as good and seem things have even been better than their name brand competitor. Occasionally, the stores will have name brand products for sale, and if they do, they are typically at least .25 to .50 centers cheaper than they would be in another store. (Don't scoff, that .25 cents adds up quickly in savings).

When I said the consumer could purchase bed spreads and clothes, I was not kidding. The store usually has items like for that sale. In fact, the items often change according to season or holiday. For example, in December, they sell toys such as dolls, trucks, games, wrapping paper, bows, etc. These prices are usually lower than one would find in anther retail store, too.

The only drawback is that the consumer has to bag their own groceries. One can purchase bags which can be reused over and over or one can bring boxes from home. Either way, it's not too bad because that is one of the ways Aldi is able to save the consumer money. They save money because of not having to constantly purchase bags or pay an associate wages to bag them.

I recommend Aldi to all my friends. In today's economic times, one has to find ways to save money and Aldi is an excellent way to do just that!
