Not a bad shampoo for the price.

Alberto Vo5 Passion Fruit Smoothie Shampoo is not a bad shampoo. Normally I use shampoos that cost more, but sometimes I still do buy this shampoo. If I use this shampoo and then dry my air or let it air dry it is way too frizzy. However I like to sometimes shower and just braid my wet hair and this shampoo is absolutely perfect for that. When I do this my hair smells amazing! I would recommend this shampoo to people who want a good cleaning and smelling shampoo for a very affordable price. Effectiveness When I use this shampoo in advance of braiding my hair it works great. It cleans my hair really well and leaves it smelling nice. It cleans better than I originally thought it would. However I would never use this if I were going to dry my hair because it makes my hair frizzy and wild. Scent I love how this passion fruit smoothie shampoo smells. It smells just as good in my hair as it does in the bottle. After my hair dries it still smells amazing!

Cheap and gets the job done

Everyone is on a budget. This shampoo is great because it cleans my hair without costing a fortune. If you are on a budget, or you just don't want to spend a fortune on hair products, I recommend this product. My hair does not require any special treatment (due to coloring), so I cannot comment on how this shampoo effects treated hair. I can say that this shampoo helps to hydrate my hair, helping to keep it soft and manageable. This shampoo lathers very well, so a little goes a long way. My favorite thing about this shampoo is the scent. I love the smell of passion fruit. Other brands I have looked at usually do not offer this scent. Effectiveness As this shampoo suggests, it does help to moisturize my hair. I feel my hair is softer and more easily managed after I use this product. This product also lathers up well allowing me to use less, and for the bottle to last longer. Scent I love this scent. It is strong enough to linger in the hair after the soap is washed out, but not overpowering.

VO5 Moisture Milk is adequate

I'm a curly gurl on a budget, so VO5's moisture milk conditioner in passion fruit is my favorite for pre-rinsing my hair. It is a very inexpensive product, so you do get what you pay for. I use it daily to rub into my scalp and rinse out any leftover product in my hair before I use a better conditioner. I wouldn't use it alone for my hair. The consistency is very watery, you have to be careful when pouring it into your hands or it will overflow quickly. The smell is pleasant, I remember test smelling each scent and this was the least offending. Some scents give me a headache, this does not. The conditioner contains a soy milk protein formula to help with dry and damaged hair. I don't think it will work that kind of miracle on damaged hair, but what do you expect from an inexpensive product. The bottle shape and design is rather nice for such a cheap product. The lid snaps close firmly and I haven't had any spills.  The conditioner is also safe for color treated hair and not tested on animals.

Not as moisturizing as it claims, but decent and only a buck

I wasn't wowed by this shampoo, but for only a buck (or less!), it didn't do too bad of a job.  I don't think shampoo is quite as important as a good conditioner, since really you're just washing away surface dirt and impurities.  It claims to help dry and damaged hair, but the moisture level was really just for normal type hair, not really rich and moisturizing as one would think.  It has soy protein and panthenol to make hair stronger, but my hair seems the same as it's always been - a little prone to breakage since it's on the fine, dry side.  It claims to be gentle to color-treated hair, but since I haven't dyed my hair in many a blue moon, I couldn't claim that fact is true.  The smell is supposed to smell like passion fruit smoothie, but I definitely didn't get a tropical experience at all.  Smelled more bubble gum-y to me, which isn't a bad smell but not as good as expected.  It left my hair nicely cleansed and shiny, but not so Brillo pad-like which is a good point in my book!  I'd say it was worth the buck I spent to get it, but not much more.

I like it but I think more can be done with this brand.

Vo5 Moisture Milks is a good shampoo but there is just something missing from it. it does clean and make your hair look healthy but it doesnt hold the moisture like it says it does. I have used this shampoo a few times to see how and if it would work. So far, I have not seen enough of an improvement to actually call this a moisturizing shampoo. If you are looking for something that is inexpensive then this is the shampoo for you. but if you are looking for something that actually helps moisturize then I would not recommend Vo5 Moisture Milks Passion Fruit.

Alberto Vo5 Shampoo gets the job done for a cheap price.

The Alberto Vo5 Shampoos are the cheapest I can find, but for me, they get the job done. I'm not very picky, so take it for it's worth, but I think this shampoo is just fine. It definitely doesn't lather up as much as other brands. Also, I think the scents don't smell as nice, and they aren't as strong as other brands. That's ok for me, because what I like about this shampoo is that it gets my hair clean and it's cheap. That's all I really need! The nice thing about it too is that it's easy to find. You can get it at ANY regular store. You don't have to go to a hair salon to find it, or anything special like that. Convenient and cheap...I suppose you get what you pay for.
