Alberto VO5 Herbal Escapes Free Me Freesia Shampoo is my favorite scent of all shampoos. It's very relaxing and makes me unwind and enjoy the few moments of silence I get in the shower. Over the years, Alberto VO5 has remained the same quality and price. They don't make false claims to increase the prices of their products. This shampoo is not a thin consistency, it's thicker so it stays in place on my hair and lathers richly. I have long, naturally curly hair. This shampoo doesn't weigh down my hair or leave it feeling greasy. It simply cleans it and leaves it feeling and smelling great. Alberto VO5 makes my hair softer than most of the expensive brands that I have tried. I've tried many other brands of shampoo, but I always return to Alberto VO5. The smell is amazing and the product works great for such a low price. I have five kids and a husband, and the whole family uses Alberto VO5.

This product overall is great. The price is superb. The fragrance leaves my hair smelling fresh. The shampoo leaves my hair very bouncy and not weighed down. I've used VO5 for years that came in the gold yellow bottle. This one is so much better and it smells divine. I rack up on them at my local beauty store when I have coupons. Great buy and like I previously said the smell is not overwhelming and it will leave your hair feeling wonderful. I received a free sample in the mail. I ripped it open, headed straight to the shower and used it and Boy did it make me and my hair feel invigorated. My daughter came home 2 hours later and said Mommy your hair smells really nice. I hope it comes in more fragrances. I'm hoping they will come out with a child care line. That would really make me a happy camper!!!. Also check your local drug store flyers because they have tons of coupons you can get great savings on an assortment of products.

This shampoo is both effective and affordable. Overall I give it an 8 because there are other shampoos available that are more advanced but they are also a lot more expensive. In this economy it is not worth while to spend so much more on shampoo for just a bit more quality. I have color treated hair and I worry that shampoos may be to harsh and wash out the color but I do not have that problem with this shampoo. Effectiveness This shampoo gets your hair very clean and is not harsh. It is easy to use and lathers well. It is easy to rinse out and leaves to residue. I have long hair so it can be more difficult to get all of it clean but this shampoo does the trick for me. Scent I love the scent of this shampoo! It is fresh and not too heavy. It is strong enough that it leaves some scent in your hair but it is not so heavy that it feels overpowering. I smells like flowers but it is not too sweet of a smell.

One thing that I love about the Alberto VO5 shampoos is that they are one of the cheapest brands of shampoo out there. I know what you are thinking, if its really cheap then it must not work well. Well that is not the case. Yes these shampoos are not the best out there, but they are not the worst by far. This is a great shampoo to buy if you are on a budget and can't afford the more expensive ones. If you are a fan of flowers then the Alberto Vo5 Herbal Escapes Free Me Fressia Shampoo is a great choice for you. This shampoo has the nice soft scent of Fressia blossoms. The scent isn't too strong and leaves a light scent on your hair after rinsing out. The shampoo contains aloe and jasmine extracts that help to moisture your hair. If you have greasy hair this works very well at helping to get the grease out. Using the shampoo daily will help keep the grease level in your hair down. It does not add a greasy feeling to your hair like other cheap shampoos do. It's a very good shampoo for a family on a budget.

I have very dry, medium length thick hair and I received Alberto V05 Herbal Escapes Free Me Freesia Shampoo in a large gift basket I received for Christmas. I was out of my normal shampoo so decided to give it a try. The smell was pleasant, and I did not mind that at all. The shampoo did not seem to lather very well, so I felt I needed to use more than I would normally use to wash my hair. After rinsing, when I tried to comb my hair it was almost impossible! My hair was so tangled and hard to comb. My hair didn't feel very soft or healthy even when it was wet. I styled my hair as I normally do, and my hair felt dryer than it already was, and throughout the day seemed to tangle more than it normally does. My hair did, however keep a pleasant scent throughout the day. I wasn't very impressed with this shampoo, but kept it around so if I need it in emergency, if I run out of my normal brand I will have it, but would not want to use it as my regular shampoo.

I use Alberto VO5 Herbal Escapes Free Me Freesia Shampoo every other day. It is a very inexpensive shampoo, yet it really lathers well and cleans my hair perfectly. It gets rid of the layers of build-up that I accumulate from the many styling products that I use. I lather up twice when I use this shampoo. It has a lovely smell of fresh freesia that remains in your hair for many hours. I always get compliments on my hair's shine whenever I use this great shampoo! I love the fact that this great shampoo is so effective even though the cost is quite budget friendly! Effectiveness It lathers very nicely. I love the way it removes all of the build-up on my hair from my gels and hairspray. It leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh with tons of shine and volume. Scent I gave this shampoo's scent a 10 because it smells like fresh cut freesia! It's one of my favorite scents for my hair! It's great because this scent is not too strong or over-powering like many other shampoo scents. It is a flower scent that makes you feel very feminine!

There's a lot to be said for a very, very budget option at the drugstore, and V05 shampoo fits that niche nicely. I've found bottles of this shampoo for under 80 cents, and when I was in college, that super-cheap option was a livesaver for a student on a budget. I've used this shampoo for years, and it really does a good job, despite its low price point. I've had better luck with V05 shampoo than some other bargain-basement shampoos - this one doesn't seem to strip my hair, but I do get a good lather and feel that my scalp and hair get clean afterwards. For those with dry and/or curly/wavy hair, this may not be the best option for constant use, as it can be a somewhat stripping clean (like many standard shampoos), but it should be ok for occasional use even for those hair types. My favorite part about V05 shampoos is the wide range of scents they come in, which really do seem to linger on my hair after a shower. Budget and a good scent - hard to beat!

I think that VO5 is the cheapest brand of shampoo or conditioner that you can buy. It is definitely in my price range while I was in college, so I used it for a while. I have thin hair, so i don't get a lot of tangles or need a ton of lather to wash my hair, so VO5 was okay for me. It is not a great shampoo though. I don't think that it lathers and cleans well. My hair is not left feeling smooth and shiny the way that other shampoos make my hair feel. I feel like my hair is also left more frizzy and harder to take care of. My hair is not left feeling soft after a shower. The smell on the other hand, is excellent! I love the various smells that VO5 offers and the Freesia is no exception, it is great! The smell does linger for a while after I shower and smells good. The price is perfect if you want a simple shampoo that cleans and washes well. HOwever, if you care about smoothness and moisturizing your hair, I would consider another brand of shampoo. I highly recommend VO5 shampoos for men or people with short hair and think it would work well for them.

I decided to try V05 again after I noticed how much my favorite shampoo had raised their prices. I remember my mom using this brand for us kids when we were growing up and when I scent tested it (sniffed it) at the store I loved how lively and fresh it smelled. First, this product was a third the price of my regular product, so I assumed it would be inferior in quality. Boy was I wrong! It not only lathered nice it was also very aromatic. Second, being an herbal shampoo I thought that the scent would not last as long as other products, again I was wrong. The pleasant scent of freesia lasted a good couple of hours. I really ended up liking this shampoo that I bought because I was a little short on cash, I may even end up making this my new go to shampoo of choice. Effectiveness Very smooth going on. Nice lather and no need to rinse and repeat. Scent Pleasant scent that lasted for hours. Even more effective when used with the companion conditioner.

This product is a great bargain! It works great for the price you pay. It is no top of the line shampoo and it is not for you if you have problem hair. But if you are looking for a everyday product that gets the job done of cleaning your hair for a minimal price, this is for you. The smell is great, it definitely smells more like and expensive shampoo. The smell gives you the refreshing clean feeling. I love that I can find an affordable when my budget is tight, that will easily get the job done. Effectiveness It is not as effective as a high end shampoo. It really doesn't do much of anything special to my hair like repair damage, defrizz, or add bounce. But it does get it clean and it does a great job of getting your hair clean. Scent I love the smell of this shampoo. It is comparable to the Herbal Essence brands in terms of scent. It is not an overpowering smell that takes over, just a light, refreshing scent that makes you feel clean.
