All stores in my area stopped stocking this,,,and that makes me mad. I've never used another leave in conditioner,,this one is the best.

Alberto VO5 Detangle & Shine Lightweight Leave-In Conditioner is a conditioner that is exactly what it says and also gives my hair shine like it says. It is a light conditioner which is really refreshing as a leave-in conditioner. It detangled my hair with ease but it does not leave a thick residue on it or make it feel sticky after I dry it. Since it doesn't leave a residue on it, it doesn't make it look dull or dirty. It also makes my hair feel and look full of body and helps make it very easy to style. It helps my hair hold curls too. I even use this on some days when I don't wash my hair but want to make it shine like I just did wash it. This works very well for that because it is not an overpowering conditioner. It has a faint but pleasant fragrance which also helps me feel better on the days I use it when I didn't wash my hair. It has been gentle to my colored hair also and doesn't dry it out or make it look darker.

Alberto VO5 Detangle and Shine Lightweight Leave-in Conditioner is a good product by conditioning standards. I like that it is a light leave in conditioner. It definitely helped to make my hair a little softer and my hair did not feel as brittle after using it. Unfortunately, it did not help to detangle my hair at all. I have fine hair that gets very tangled at the base of my neck if I leave it down all day. I have to use a detangling spray to get all of those knots out at the end of the day or else my hair is a pain to get a brush through. I purchased this product because my usual detangling product was out of stock. I was very disappointed that this spray did not help to get my tangles out. I was sure that this would help even better than my usual product (which is a kid's detangling spray), but it did not. I would not recommend using this spray if you are purchasing it for its detangling capabilities; you will be very unhappy with the results.

I found this in the drugstore and decided to give it a try. I recently started to grow my hair out long and didn't want to get it trimmed more than my usual 2x a year. But because I had damaged hair from coloring, weather etc. I always got split ends badly. So I used this just a few sprays all over after just shampooing and used a wide tooth comb and it was amazing. My hair is always tangled if I don't use conditioner when I wash my hair but not anymore. I love this product now and I use it when I wake up and before I go to bed just on the ends and have no more split ends. Because it already conditions my hair it leaves it looking better and I don't have to wash everyday which many say is bad for you're hair if you want it to be healthy and grow longer. It doesn't gross me out to not wash it because it looks and feels so good. I have fine hair that gets oily quickly and this stuff is great.

different products work better for different hair.  personally, my hair is pretty fine and neither thin nor thick, very straight and not prone to frizzing.  i grow my hair out regularly to donate to Locks of Love, and by the time i donate, my hair has reached waist-length.  in order to have long healthy hair, much care must be taken.  personally, i don't think i could do it without VO5's Detangle and Shine Spray!  for one thing, it makes my hair much easier to comb after washing.  fewer tangles means fewer slipt ends, but it's more than just that.  i've tried other detanglers, usually ones in brightly colored bottles and typically marketed towards kids.  they're not the same.  sure, they help detangle, but there's more to the VO5 spray than just detangling.  i've found that if i use other plain detangling sprays, even though i have fewer tangles, i still end up developing split ends faster than i do when using the VO5 spray.  it doesn't just detangle...it conditions and strengthens.  at least that's been my experience.  VO5 Detangle and Shine Spray is the greatest hair care product i've ever used!!

I choose this product to review because it stuch out to me as being a good leave in conditioner. Overall it is also a product that is useful in my daily beauty regime. It is time saving, it works, and it is also unique as far as traditional c=conditioners are concerned. When I began to experiment with leave in detanglers and conditiners,I preferred them because I tend to skip the conditioners, or I break alot of my hair while brushing after a wash. With VO5 I can run the brush right through my hair when it is wet and it does not come out, break or mess p. This product produces results! If I didn't like this spray in conditioner I would not review it or recommed it. And the best thing is you don't have to rinse it out and it reallt works! So, if you are sick of in the shower boring conditioners, try this one. I guarantee it! You will be amazed at the results and it is even fun to use! I recommend this for your hair\s sake!

I work outside a lot as well as am constantly working out on the track or in the pool, so I do a lot of damage to my hair.  This **VO5 Detangle and Shine: Daily Leave In Conditioner** is a great way to keep your hair looking great and feeling great too.  I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner a few times a week, and this leave in conditioner is an extra step to my beauty routine, but totally worth it.  I just spray this in my hair and leave it and it adds shine and moisture.  It has a fresh fragrance and adds a soft texture to my hair as well as helps detangle my hair.  This is a great product to keep my hair looking good and shiny and I love that it doesn't weigh my hair down or add a residue on it.  This is like therapy to my hair a few times a week and always makes my hair look great.  I buy this at the local grocery store and it is pretty inexpensive, but definitely a good hair treatment and high quality in a bottle.

I dye my hair every 6 weeks, and I have fairly fried hair, so needless to say, I need moisturizer. I use this conditioner in addition to the conditioner that I use in the shower (Clairol Nice and Easy Gloss), and it makes my hair soft, shiny, and manageable! And the best part is that it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave lots of build-up in my hair. After I get out of the shower, I spray this conditioner all over my bangs and the ends of my hair when my hair is wet and wrung-out. I let it dry on my hair, and I find that my hair feels extra soft with this conditioner. I have also used this conditioner as a substitute for my wash-out conditioner when I run out of it, and it works just as well as my regular conditioner. The major difference I notice between this conditioner and other leave in conditioners is that it doesn't weigh my hair down and make it feel rough and like its full of build up.

I have never been one to have to use a detangler, as i have normal hair. My daughter was blessed with beautiful, thick curly hair. However, it is a nightmare to comb out after bathtime. Ive struggled with it since she was little, using the Johnsons and all the other baby detanglers. My hair stylist suggested I try the VO5 brand, affordable and definetly works well! Usually I have to spray her hair, comb a little, spray again, and repeat over and over. With this product, I used a few sprays over her entire head, and the comb went thru her hair so easily! Then after it was dry, it was extra shiny and looked very healthy. I would definetly use this over and over again, I hope they continue to keep it on the shelves!

I LOVE this product!  I have 2 daughters that scream every time I have to brush their hair. We have tried all the "kids" detanglers but they just didn't cut it on my girls super thick hair. This product really works. The only problem I have ever had is that at times it can leave their hair looking a bit flat, like it takes some of the body out.  It does do the same thing for me and I also have SUPER thick hair but it just means putting a bit more time into styling. That is fine with me if it means no more fighting over brushing hair!!
