I bought this product about a month ago and imagine it will take about a year before I can actually finish the whole jar even though it's relatively small. A small amount of this can go a long way and so it's cost effective. I enjoyed the texture of this product and it's clear so no scaring your children when they see your face as in the commercial on television. I hope someone out there knows what I'm talking about. Anywho, you will still be recognizable even while it's on. Even though it's actually only left on for 5 minutes. Effectiveness It left my skin feeling extremely smooth but quite oily because my skin naturally leans towards being more oily than dry. I liked it so much I tried to use it every day like you would your facial wash and that was a very bad idea. It does tingle somewhat so keep that in mind. After using it 3 days in a row once a day, that caused my skin to redden, tighten uncomfortably around the nostrils, and become dry for a couple days thereafter. No peeling though so that was good. Needless to say, I switched to using it a couple times a week and it's one of my favorite skin products now. Notation- I've not had any major acne problems since I was 12 but I did have a couple black heads and baby acne and this product by Alba helped diminish those entirely. Ease of Application If you put on a thin, EVEN layer (as well as you possibly can) then there are no problems. It's clear and smooth like a gel so it's easy to spread. It only requires 5 minutes to be left on your face before rinsing. Scent I personally like Papaya anyway but I'll refrain from a bias response. The smell is slightly sweet and fruity, not horribly strong for those who profess themselves to be sensitive to smells. Almost minty smelling. It reminds me of this jello snack I used to have as a child but it wasn't made in the U.S. and had a subtle quality. Nothing spectacular about the smell but it wasn't nauseating either.

I use it once a week and I can see how its making the marks on my skin lighter. I use my clairsonic to cleanse and tone and then use this mask. It is recommended for twice a week use and it will work even better if I used it that often. A little goes a long way. It last a long time consider the price people may not want to pay. It's a clear gel like consistancy and it doesn't dryup because you don't keep it on that long. It feels really good on your skin. It doesn't sting or burn.

I alternate this product, every other night, with Avon's Anew Dermabrasion scrub. The Alba facial mask does not dry like other masks (so you don't end up looking like you have a cast on your face). The pale green gel stays in its gel from, and it makes your face feel alive and oh so clean. When you put it on, you tend to say, "Ahhh," because it feels both soothing and refreshing. I actually look forward to using this product. And it gets rid of any makeup residue left after cleansing and toning. I buy mine at the grocery store -- how convenient -- though it is a little less expensive at Wal-Mart (not enough for me to make a special trip however). It lasts a very long time, and it doesn't dry out over the months it takes to use it, so I find it to be a very good value. I've been through several jars, and I will continue to buy it and use it.

I really like this product. It smells very nice and leaves your skin feeling soft and just fresh and natural feeling. I like the texture of the mask. Its very thick and gewy. It doesnt not peel off. One thing that i dont like is when you put it on, it gives this stinging/burning sensation to your face. Its supposed to do that, some people will enjoy it some wont. But after you rinse it off, your face feels very nice.
