I got 3 free samples of this energy powder drink in the mail the other day, they sent me Cranberry, Raspberry and Tangerine. You're supposed to mix this with 4 to 6 oz of cold water then drink up. Well I tried the Tangerine first with 6 oz. of water and about gagged on it, it reminded me of Alka-Seltzer with a slight fizz and a very nasty taste. I did taste a slight citrus flavor but it was nasty. So figuring 6 oz. was too much and may have diluted it too much I opened the Raspberry one and used 4 oz. of water. OMG now it really was just like Alka-Seltzer!

Did I try the Cranberry? Okay now reread the above paragraph and you will know the answer! NO WAY JOSE!!

This stuff is supposed to give you an energy boost and 1,000mg of Vitamin C with each serving. I don't care how good it is supposed to be for you it needs to at least be palatable for those using it. If this were in a pill form then I would use it but they taste is just too nasty for me.

Bottom Line

I would rather drink Alka-Seltzer than to ever drink this stuff again and I am allergic to it. I can get my energy boost in other ways and certainly Vitamin C from other sources as well. What bothers me is the extremely high amount of Vitamin C in this product as it is way more than the recommended daily amount you are supposed to have. I did find where it said that 2000mg a day was tolerable so I don't know. I do know this stuff is nasty and I won't be drinking anymore of it!

Blech! You are right. There are many other sources of Vitamin C.

It won't give you any energy boost if it tastes too bad to drink. :)
