I have been searching for the right odor eliminator for my home for quite some time now. I have tried so many different things, from plug ins (that only work for about a day), to candles of all scents and labels (but that give my hubby a headache and my doggies the sneezes!). I have used carpet deodorizer to just plain old Arm & Hammer Baking Soda (which worked wonders, but, made my dog with a sensitive tummy vomit if he ate it or licked the carpet where it was). But, today, I was at the Dollar Store and saw this on sale. I've looked at them several times, but, they were always a little pricey for me...but, since it was on sale and I was desperate I broke down.
I'm glad I did.
We hung it on the wall about in the middle of the living room above a door frame. Set it to 18 minutes and voila, smells wonderful! It's not overwhelming, even right after it sprays. It's just a subtle smell, that lingers between puffs. We got lavender, which was all they had on sale. I'm not a big fan of lavender scents, but, this isn't so bad. It's rather calming.
My little dog doesn't like the sound it makes when it lets out the puff of scent. It's a little louder than I expected. But, I'm sure over time we will get used to it. Tomorrow we are going to buy another one for another area of the house.
Thank God for sales!
