Quick View: I have been wanting a chair like this for years. I finally got one. I almost killed myself on it. Not good. One dream shot.

About Airmesh Dish Chair – Blue

These chairs comes in several colors but are all the same. They are round – sort of - and like a bucket in a way. They're foam filled with a mesh like front and polyester back. They have folding steel legs that feel like they are going to buckle and crash at any moment. The cushion really doesn't seat people larger than me and I am under 120 pounds. A man could not sit on this chair without feeling as if he were about to crash – and he might!

We got the chair home and my husband set it up. I was so excited. I imagined curling up in and reading a good book. Right. I sat tentatively in it at first feeling the legs straining under my weight. Hmm. I then inched my butt back into the butt area and sat there. Hmm. It was a really strange way to sit. I was a bit afraid to lean fully back because I imagined the chair tipping and crashing. While the legs never did buckle or crash, it's not very relaxing to sit in a chair just waiting for the inevitable. This would make a better pre teen or teen chair, I think. I still like this type of chair but will invest in much more expensive and sturdy one next time. A $30.00 chair is a $30.00 chair and it feels and seems like a cheap chair. My husband thought the chair was a piece of junk. He inspects everything because he has been a top welder for many years and he said it was shoddily put together. YA THINK?

My Viewpoint

This chair is inexpensive and would probably be a cute occasional chair for a pre teen or teen. I don't see this as a chair one would sit in often and I certainly don't see it as one that a heavier person would feel comfortable in. I give this 3 stars. I will recommend it for smaller, younger people. It didn't crash or tip. I just don't think it was a good choice for me.
